Bringing back a thread from a few months ago I think is very relevant now. Mewtwo, in the anime, could talk, or at least communicate telepathically. With it having a new forme in these games, it comes to mind as to whether they could incorporate voice acting into gameplay. I mean, they couldn't really back in the earlier days because it would've sounded terrible, but with the 3DS now, it could be likely. This would apply to more than just Mewthree, and could apply to characters, and obviously be a feature you could turn on/off. Unova explored it a little with singers, but do you think it's possible for just actors? Would you like to see it in these games? Is it more possible now that the new Mewtwo forme exists? How do you think it'd incorporate into the games? Share yo thoughtsss.

Well, not just Mewtwo - pokemon who generally have telepathic powers like the Musketeer trio, Lucario, Jirachi, and any others might be able to incorporate some sort of voice communication. In any case, it's very possible with the 3Ds technology. I mean, has any one played Fire Emblem: Awakening? Even though it's not fully voice acted, it still have some simple phrases like..

    "Huh?"
    "What?"
    "I see..."

And so on. I can very much see each dialouge with pokemon interact with voice acting. I know that there are multiple opinions on this matter, and we all know that pokemon has been generally a "silent" game on where we'd have to use our imaginations to depict our characters, but, then again... is it generally a bad thing to introduce something new to the world of pokemon? I certainly don't think so.

Case in short, I wouldn't mind if there was voice acting, but again, I just doubt that there will be fuly voiced scripts and what not.

This is an interesting topic because I haven't really thought of this until now, but I do like the idea. I like the idea of simple dialogue, that would be a neat implementation. I don't think they'll do it though, but perhaps for a major 3D scene... That would certainly make things a lot more fun to watch. They'd have to have some really good voice acting or something.

Maybe the Gym Leaders could have a short line or something at the end of the battle?

As much as I love voice acting, it wouldn't feel right in the main handheld series games. Imo, I'd prefer if they had voice acting in their console games, like Colosseum and XD.

One thing that I wouldn't mind is having a character simply say a FEW words, or even grunt (just to give a hint at their voice), which is done in many JRPGs. Couldn't explain it any better than that, xD
