Volt white 2 redux freezing in opelucid city

    Hello, I'm posting this in case anyone can help me: after winning against drayden in opelucid city, you're supposed to go to his house, but when I walk 1-2 tiles above the flute player on the way to it, the game freezes. I've tried using a fresh rom but nothing, I think the game is trying to play a cutscene but something is not working right. I can post my save file if anyone wants to take a look.
     
    I've had issues like this happen before, and I would guess you maybe have a cheat activated that's messing w the game(like press select to open pc) ik that one has messed me up a ton involving cutscenes. or it could possibly be because you have a Pokémon that's registered as a fairy type in your team. I'd suggest loading up the last save state from your emulator, removing said fairy types from your team, save in game, and then reset. if one of those issues applies it should be a simple fix.

    just tried that (no fairy type but had fairy type moves) + disabled all cheats, still froze 😔. i had tried booting up storm silver and it freezes right after the title screen too, maybe its connected but idk
