*removes a vial from his armor and injects it into Echoes, paralyzing her*

*picks up Echoes*

Nightmare: I have priorities. You're living is the top of them.

*Carries Echoes back to his ship for treatment*

Nightmare: She is safe, Echoes. I left her in Hiki's hands.

Nightmare: .... Stupid Echoes! You're no good to Sarah dead!
Nightmare: I don't want to have to fight you to heal you... Sarah, talk some sense into her... she'll die if I don't treat her.

*Nightmare looked at Echoes. Despite being in full Armor, he knew how to show he was worried*
 
Blackhole: Void Unit, attack!
Soldiers: *Flies out of space wearing suits and jetpacks, starts firing solared powered lasers as cruisers starts firing at Overlord's fleet while the ships starts charging up energy*
*In one of the ships*
Kai: Looks like it's starting. Well, time to get prepared. *Puts on gloves and walks away*
 
*Hotaru flies over to the ship were Eclipse is and raising her hands*
Hotaru: Life into life, return to the realm.... *white light cascades over Eclipse* Be revitaived! *Eclispse's wounds are healed by the light*
 
Nightmare: .... no.... I only have one chance to save her...

*Activates the powers of the shadow spawn within. Dimensional warps to Echoes location and grabs her*

Nightmare: Sarah... stay safe.

*warps to the infirmary, lays echoes on the operating table , warps to his ship to gather what equipment he'll need, warps back and begins procedures."

Nightmare: crap.... its growing stronger each time I do that.

*takes off his armor then Echoes'. He scans Kenth, to make sure he is in tact.*

Nightmare: Good, Kenth is okay. I can begin. Uh oh... Sergi is here too... this could be trouble for Eclipse. I have to treat Echoes now though...

*He then begins to coat echoes wounds in a Phazon solvent and bandage them. He does a bio scan for any major internal wounds and finds none*

Nightmare: Her organs are in tact, good.

*After finishing the treatment and checking her condition, Nightmare carried his wife to her bed, freshly warped in and lays her to rest*

Nightmare: Sleep well, My Echoes. Kenth, I leave the rest to you. Echoes will be fine.

*clenches his chest*

Nightmare: I wish I could say the same for me.
 
Echoes: You didn't have to do that. *feels the darkness*
*closes eyes* It's cold?yet so hot. Like hell itself?
*has fallen asleep do to Kenth's enzimes*

Shadow: I sense a dark being within you master, lord.
 
*Sighs as he clenches his chest*

Nightmare: A curse from my past, but the only reason I'm still alive. Eventually, that spirit and I will fight each other... and the victor gets my body... but please, don't tell my wife. I don't want her to fear me.

*sits by Christy's bed*

Nightmare: I promise I'll be here when you wake up.
 
Shadow: Oh, really? Wow.
*it leave*
*Sapphire, my dragon, walks in holding a book*
Saph: One of the Shadow told me of inner conflict.
*puts the book in Nightmare's hands*
A certain god wanted me to give you this.
The dragon goddess says it's the story of an old character.
A special demon hunter?
The book is called 'A crystal tear', too bad it was never finished.
*Sapphire leaves*
 
*grabs the book and looks at the cover*

Nightmare: TacNair... I'll have to have Echoes help me read it. It may hold the solution to my problem.... but I'm afraid of telling Echoes my secret...

*puts the book beside him and runs his hand over Echoes' forehead*

Nightmare: I love you, Christy Echoes.

*Nightmare relaxes into the chair, waiting for Echoes to wake up*
 
Echoes: *lays her hand over the book*
Christy?Ana, queen demon, please don't kill my friends?
*teardrop* *wakes up fully*
It's a very sad book.
Dragon must have a reason for wanting you to read it.
It's a soft gold and leather, like many of our sagas.
Mine's the longest one yet.
*looks at the book*
Didn't last very long, no, forgotten, left.
 
NIghtmare: Christy... I have a demon inside of me... a shadow spirit that took my body as a host. That's how I god the scars all over my body... I didn't want to tell you, because I feared you fearing me...
