[Eventing Question] Walk into a house and battle starts.

    Hey All! When you enter a door, I think the player transfer from the event prevents NPC Trainers from noticing you. The trainer works fine, the battle runs, but only if I stay in the trainers eyeline or reenter if I move out of it.

    Basically, I want to walk into a house and as soon as I enter the house a trainer approaches and says a line about entering the wrong house or you arent supposed to be here etc, and then the battle starts but I enter the house and the trainer doesnt notice me, I can then move out of their line of sight and do whatever until I try to leave, and when I enter their line of sight to exit the house then it triggers the animation and starts the battle.

    Is there a fix of this? Screenshot attached.

    Instead of doing it in the same NPC Event, do it in a new Autorun Event, and place it somewhere out of the house (in the black tiles). Put there your messages (I recommend you first adding a Wait of 8 frames, so the messages won't be displayed meanwhile the screen "turns back" again after being black due the teletransportation to inside), the movement of the Grunt walking to you, the battle and all things that you desire. Finally, remember to activate at the end a Self Switch and create a new empty page with that Self Switch activated as a Condition (with Action Button as Trigger).

    Oh forgot to mention, maybe you would like to change the name of the event (the Grunt's one) to avoid having problems with "Trainer(3)" name. I'm pretty sure that it won't affect you anyways, but only for being sure. And set Action Button as Trigger in the Grunt NPC too.
