Wall pokemon

    I made a thread before about a defensive pokemon but i seriously am getting nothing out of it.

    I NEED A POKEMON THAT CAN HOLD UP, AGGRON LOOKS GOOD, but hes week 4x to fighting and ground thats scarey...

    Give me a pokemon that can HOLD UP and please a move set(if you want to be nice) and where I should put my ev's..
     
    Milotic is pretty good if you want something with huge Defense. Give her a Flame Orb and you're all set [Milotic doesn't do any Physical Attacking; the Burn status activates Marvel Scale, which maxes out Defense].

    Cloyster is another good Wall, but it only work on Physical Sweepers due to it's pathetic Special Defense. It's HP is bad, too, but if you use it properly that doesn't matter.

    Skarmory and Blissey are options, but they are overused, cliche and have quite a few counters, so try not to use them if you can.
     
    On my team, I use Steelix as a physical wall and Blissey as a special wall.

    Calm Blissey@Leftovers
    Trait: Natural Cure
    EVs: 252 HP, 152 Special Defense, 106 Defense
    Ice Beam
    Softboiled
    Thunder Wave
    Aromatherapy

    Relaxed Steelix@Leftovers
    Trait: Rock Head
    EVs: 252 Defense, 252 HP, 6 Attack
    Stealth Rock
    Earthquake
    Gyro Ball
    Rest
     
    Steelix looks great. Give him a relaxed nature to power up Gyro Ball, and a macho brace if you want it to have even more power. Otherwisw, stick with lefties. Hope I helped.
     
    whats the natures on the steelix and blissy? I was thinking about making a bold blissy but I dont think thats a bold blissy..
     
    Relaxed on steelix with Gyro Ball, Bold on Blissey. Only close combat will put a major dent in blissey EV trained in D and HP, but it will still have a bit of a weakness to physical sweepers, unless they are really weak. Still, it can wall special attacks so easily, defense is the best place to put the EVs, as well as HP.
     
    impish and bold. Blissey needs 252 def ev's/bold to take hits or it dies to physical attacks.
     
    Why impish? Relaxed powers up gyro ball. The slower you are the better. Who is steelix gonna outrun anyways?
     
    Blissey looks alright, steelix looks great. Any more questions?
     
    Thats all Just need to get the TM's for Steelix now...

    As for blissey wouldnt you want a bold blissey and try and get the best stats out of him because well his defense sucks to begin with? his special defense naturally will be good

    Don't double post...but bold and 252 defense for bliss...who BTW isn't a "he," they're all female.
     
    just thinking for milotic why not add aqua ring? that sorta helps out the burn
     
    Restalk Milo is better IMO. I think Smarties-Chan mentioned something about it being smarter than w/ burn orb, so I'd use it.

    You aren't allowed to double post to bump a thread BTW, I learned that from FG. I won't add fuel to a starting fire, but maybe it is you who needs to get their facts straight. I'm done responding on this thread, as you called me an anal (???) Really, don't be so rude, it's how people lose respect for you...

    Trait: Serene Grace/Natural Cure
    Nature: Calm
    EVs: 252 HP/ 252 SDEF/ 4 SPEED
    Icebeam/Seismic Toss
    Softboiled
    Aromatherapy
    Thunder Wave

    Freeze is the best possible status condition, so serene Grace with Icebeam, even though it has only 20% chance.

    Anti-pop: maxing defense won't help, its hopeless, even with maxed defense it won't be able to take a tackle, and its not likely that you would leave Blissey in on a physical sweeper.
