WHo liked the film, War of the Worlds? I thought it was incredible!! o_O!! I was gasping at every moment!! Well, if you like this movie, or want ot share your thoughts, post here!! ^-^

I saw it like, a week or so ago o_o; Not a bad movie at all, I liked it actually :p I wanna get it when it comes out on DVD :O

I saw the movie and loved it. I mean, I was on the edge of my seat from the beginning. I was shocked at the end when you find out Robbie (the son) didn't die! < (Highlight contains spoiler) Also the fact that the aliens died because of germs and bacteria I thought was genious.< (Highlight contains spoiler)

That movie scared the bejesus out of my mom tho. lol. I loved it too, so suspenseful :)

I saw the movie the weekend it was released and it was friggin awesome. I loved the whole movie. Dakota Fanning is such a great actress, even thought she is so young. Her fear like made the whole audience freak everytime something scary happend.

I personally thought the movie was incredible. However, while I agree that Dakota Fanning is a great actress, her scream got annoying after the 50th time. That would probably be my only complaint with the movie. Seemed like the girl was always screaming.

Also, I thought the best part of the movie was in the beginning, where Robbie's task is to get food, and all he grabs are condiments. Despite his comment stating that that was all that was around the house, I found it hilarious. But maybe that's just me.

Her screaming was very good. It was very real. We will defiantly be seeing more of her in the future.

Yes, so true, I was shaking in suspense when the camera/aliens were looking through the basement where the dad and the girl and the other CRAZY guy were hiding, OMG!!!! I was so into the movie......OMG!!!!

I know!!! I was so into that part, and when he told the girl to sing a song and disregard anything she heard, I was shocked because he killed the guy!!!! OMG!!!!

XD That was an awesome movie, Dakota Fanning is such a good actress, yet shes young..

An incredible movie I will only see once, I didn't see how the plot with the family and the plot with the aliens fit together. I hated the ending such a dissapointment to a great movie.

I thought it was a good movie. The shots were very nice, especially the one in the beginning with the video camera. (But how could it work if none of the electronic appliances worked? O_o) I didn't find Dakota Fanning annoying because come on, what would you have done in her place? I also didn't find the movie to be scary. (Then again, my friend and I laughed at the most inapproriate of parts.)

I must agree the ending was a disappointment. How that happened I have no idea. O_o But as for the plot with the family and the aliens, I think it made sense. It wasn't so much focusing on the family, because it really was of no importance. The only reason for the director choosing that particular family through which to portray the crisis was because they were one of the few that stayed intact. If that made any sense... if not, ignore.

I saw the movie for my first time last Tuesday, then again last night. It was less scary the second time. Less gross as well...

I loved it all except for the ending. How in God's name did (spoiler; highlight to read)Robbie live through that explosion?

    reality

Why is it that when I see these kinds of movies, I always think it's happening in real life? The FXs are just like real-life also.

Wasn't like that in the old times.

Lol, Yes i know, and then I had a dream about the movie.....scary......

Dakota Fanning's panic screams never annoyed me at all. In fact, it made the story more scary.

I have young cousins of my own, and everytime they scream/cry/yell I get all panicked cus it makes me more eager to work out whatever problem they have.

In short, the child's panic made the audience desperate to get out of that situation too. It made the dad scared, so the audience panicked. :3

During a scene where a bunch of people were walking towards the hills where the military was, the movie got cut off. lol. the audience was all like "OH SH!T!" took the staff five minutes to continue the movie. lol
