4th Gen Was anyone else diapointed in the Platinum Battle Fronteir?

    I was extremely disapointed in the Platinum Battle Fronteir. I mean, i enjoy pwning in the Battle Tower as much as anyone, but the new BF had no originality. What i missed were the Emerald "Adventure" type Facilities like the Battle Pyramid and the Battle Pike. Another facility i thought was awesome was the Battle Palace, where your pokemon just do what they want. But the Platinum Facilities all had a similarity....you just battle. But with the Emerald BF, you actually have to solve things and survive. What im trying to say is, I extremely disaprove of the Platinum BF.

    Does anyone else agree with me?

    I love it, but thats probably because I never played emerald, i had sapphire and leaf green and did not see the point of getting emerald. I dont know why... i would do anything to get a copy now :(
     
    Yes. I was completely devastated, crestfallen, sad when I saw that thing of Junk called the Battle Fronteir.

    The Battle Arcade was good but where was the Battle Dome?

    I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU. I couldn't stand the Battle Factory for several reasons, since they did give me horrible stupid annoying ugly Pokemon >:o. The battle Tower is so/so. The battle Arcade, is pretty fun, but not as fun as the battle pike (like running into Pokemon and you may have to battle them or running into a room when no one wants to battle you. Or the Pyramid, every Pokemon you finish defeating, your circle gets larger making it easier to go find the exit. I forgot how the battle palace was like, but it was probably better then the stupid battle castle or whatever you want to call it

    I was disappointed in the BF because the Emerald was so huge and had even people living there, the Platinum version had a bunch of buildings clustered together. Not very exciting, IMO and they took out the battle dome :'(
     
    Yeah I agree. I liked the the Hoenn Battle Frontier much better.
    The main reason why I hate the Sinnoh Frontier is because of the Battle Castle. I absolutely HATE it.
     
    I can't Fly to the Platinum one. How frustrating when I want to drop by for a challenge. At least they gave (slightly) better rentals now.
     
    I also hate not being able to fly to the battle frontier.

    It's alright to me. I enjoyed the Emerald battle frontier more, though.
     
    I wasn't. It was a relief to hear we got one at all. If you stay away from Garchomp and Scizor, you might actually have to challenge yourself there. Emerald's wasn't that much bigger. The palace was easy on their end 'cause natures were the only difference there, right? Not much work could've gone into the Dome, either, but I might be underestimating that one...
    In short, we got about the same. Pt's BF does have a nice space, don't ya think? The claustrophobia your character gets there is probably intentional--adds intimidation.
     
    I agree with you--the Sinnoh Frontier in Platinum version isn't near as fun as the Hoenn Frontier in Emerald. I did like like the new kinds of battling you got to do at the Hoenn Frontier. But I didn't mind the Sinnoh one, either. I think the Arcade and the Castle are fun. ^^ But yeah, I kinda do miss the one from Emerald...
     
    I haven't got to the battle frontier yet in platinum but from what I'm hearing it doesn't sound too good... That's disappointing considering the other good things platinum has to offer. You'd think they'd have a better battle frontier then older games like emerald, but surprisingly not...
     
    Well the battle frontier in platinum is ok I guess. The only thing I hate about it is getting weak/bad pokemon in one of their challenges.(i forgot which one) It annoys me when I get pokemon that can easily be beaten by the other pokemon.
     
    i think battle frontier (the one from PL) sucks and in Emerald is cooler, there even was a dude with a shiny espeon and and a cave with legendaries, not to mention the better battle mods. yet the battle arcade in platinum is cool and if your pokemons passes the level it will be put to 50
     
    I haven't reached the battle frontier yet, but I loved the one in emerald, it seemed amazing when I first got there, it was like the first time I went to alton towers, except scaled down a bit...
     
    I prefer the battle facilities in platinum, but the emerald battle frontier was a lot cooler in the fact that it had more people and interesting side areas like artistan's cave and the sudowoodo.
     
    I never played Emerald, but I was disappointed in the PT battle frontier, I just found it boring...
     
    I wasn't disappointed at all. I like the Frontier in Platinum a lot better than the one in Emerald. I like all the facilities in Platinum whereas with Emerald, I only liked the Battle Factory. I was able to beat Dahlia and Argenta once each. I didn't like Emerald's Battle Frontier. My Pokemon were never strong enough for it. The Frontier in Platinum has motivated me to get my Pokemon to level 100. So far I got these Pokemon to these levels: Gyarados (99), Porygon-Z (99), Floatzel (100), Infernape (100), Dragonite (100), Gengar (100), Togekiss (100), Mr. Mime (98), Vaporeon (100). I plan to use them all in the Sinnoh Battle Frontier at some point. ^_^
