You know the exact opposite can be said for this why do we need the first two? why can't they just get it right the first time?

I went on a rant about ROMs then? Aww, that was such a good post...anyway, about downloading Mystery Gift and such, I don't even have Wi-Fi, so I can't. And the past two events that came to Gamestop I missed. My friend ended up with 5 PC Pichus and he traded me one though, so I guess that's alright. But if any more events come to GameStop (which they should) I'm going.

Y/C/E/Pt were the greatest games in their respective Generations, IMO.
Think about it like this. You made 2 things, which are great but had its flaws. You decided to 'make' one like that again, and it turned out to be better.
So, in conclusion asking if they were necessary is like saying "They shouldn't made those first 2 games."
