To be honest, the connection from the gradient to the background color thing looks weird on the sig. Even if it is supposed to be the same color as the bottom color on the gradient, well...

Are you saying that there is more of the bottom color than the top color? If so, then change the gradient so there is more of the top color, and that should help.
