311 Just woke up again after an odd needle had pierced her arm. Needles weren't that uncommon in the routine tests, but there was something odd about this particular one. The shape and the fluids in it were different. And she felt dizzy. At lunch break she noticed that quite a few children didn't make it back at all. This worried her. She also noticed that many of them appeared pale. Now she was really freaking out. "Don't worry. I'm sure it's nothing." She said. Wait, what? That wasn't me! She thought. "yes it was." she answered back. Oh my goodness, I'm talking to myself...."of course you are! Who else would you be talking to?" This is all so weird...After that she found herself in bed not being able to sleep despite her receiving the sleep drugs. Around her she herd others not being able to sleep as well.

Man, that needle hurt! Code thought to himself. Man, I'm dizzy. He walked into the lunchroom. In there he found many of his friends pale and or looking dizzy. He wondered if it had something to do with the injection. He couldn't sleep that night.


4 days later.


The subjects of installation 21 – 41 have received the same injections for the past 5 days. Many of the subjects have seen severe side effects, such as hair loss, light sensitivity, skin rotting on some places, and split personalities. Subjects from the 300-340 groups of each installation received a slightly less concentrated dose, and have experienced the least side effects. Groups 180 – 220 have experienced all of the above.

311 had been having voices in her head for 5 days now. Her personality could change drastically, but she didn't show any other side effects.

They had been separated from the others for a long time now. Code was a little worried for what might happen. The last 5 days he had had a lot of time to think, even though he doesn't really think too hard too often. He thought about why he was there, and he never really got an answer. It was like his brain had suddenly woken up after years of inactivity. He questioned why he should be in pain and locked up, but then he remembered that he knew no other life. Not being locked up was a great mystery for him. But he wanted out. He didn't want it anymore.


That day, a scientist told them they were going to move to another location. Some of the children thought of it as exciting. So did Code, but he saw it more as an opportunity to escape.
