We need better villains!

    We need better villains in the anime.

    Today's villains have been portrayed as bumbling, regular low-life criminals, snobbish, or no personality at all.

    How about some villains who are sadistic, cruel, aggressive, domineering, and/or merciless.
     
    I agree though. That pirate in the manaphy movie was about there though.
     
    What needs to happen is Ash actually get one of his pokemon stolen...that would ad a twist in the tale
     
    we to need some actual theveing going on. and not team rocket's snatch them for thirty seconds and then pikachu uses a thunderbolt and we get them back, no harm done.
     
    lol I agree. the only decent villains were in the movies, and even the ones in some of them are meh.

    Either TR needs to get more hardcore, or a new villain needs to be introduced. I must admit though, hunter J is pretty hardcore...
     
    I haven't watched any D/P yet, as I'm still catching up (I'm on Advanced). I've heard Hunter J is pretty ruthless and even tried to kill Ash once? I only have one question..when Hunter J gets defeated, what happens? Does she blast off? I really hope that's not the case..Is she really as ruthless as I think (and hope) she will be? Does she ever steal any Pokemon, and actually get away with them for good? Or does Ash and Co. save the day?

    And Jessie and James will never leave haha. We may need new villians, but they're in it for the long run. They're a staple of the series, just like Ash and Pikachu.

    Kill Ash? Well I guess when she dropped an entire section of her ship attempting to kill EVERYBODY including her own men on that section. Yeah she's pretty damn ruthless. In fact her cruelty is like nothing I've ever seen in Pokemon to this day and I'm loving it. They need more episodes with her.

    Thankfully, she does not blast off. She just sort of boards her giant air ship and flies off. She also doesn't care if she "loses" to Ash or not. She just cares if she gets her money. She also, apparently, does not like contract breakers and tries to kill them to.

    She sort of gets away with things. Remember, she doesn't steal to keep the Pokemon. She steals to sell them. She usually gets the money and then Ash and Co. get the Pokemon back from the guy she was selling it to.

    The most brilliant character that Pokemon has ever been able to come up with.
     
    I think the best villains we saw yet were The two from Team Rocket on Pokemon chronicles in the LEgend of Thunder...they would spice up the show some bit...and fit in ur category wouldn't u think?
     
    I reckon that Vicious was the best villian. He was just, well, vicious. Hunter J is awesome too; ruthless and cold. Jessie,James and Meowth provide some much-needed comic relief, however.

    we dont need new villians, we just need the current villains we have to act more villainous

    No it isn't. It's still kids who watch it more because it's a kids show.

    Anyway, I agree that Hunter J is great. Some people need to understand that Team Rocket are just comic relief villains these days. They're not the super viallains of any region besides Kanto and Johto.
