6th Gen We need Pokemon Snap 2!

    Yes! This time however, I'd like to be able to roam around the environment freely instead of being confined to a predetermined route. Also to make it challenging, have the Pokemon react dynamically to your actions. If you make too much noise when sneaking up on them, they'll run away and you have to go looking for them again. Every Pokemon should be included, and I mean every last one. The game should start out with all of the Pokemon from Kanto, with the rest from Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, and Unova added gradually over times as DLC.
     
    I second this completely. Snap gave us a look at behavioral aspects of the Pokémon, instead of just the competitive aspects. I like the DLC idea Promethius gave, but I would much rather a selective mix from the 6 regions in the beginning, and then being able to download tracks that are region exclusive.
     
    Being completely honest, I don't want it. My reason being that the only reason it would be made is fan service. Now if they do this and it does not sell well, how will that look for other fan-wanted games. The reason I don't think it will sell is that the gimmick of being able to take pictures is lost on a new generations. In the 1990s and early 2000s, kids did not have the ability to take pictures so having a video game where you can was a huge deal. Now kids wouldn't really care because it is nothing new to them.

    On a related note, I don't think we will ever be seeing another Pokemon Ranger

    There is the spinoff section, but that already has threads serving this role (specific to Snap and more of a general wishlist), so going to close.
