Weather, anyone?

Weather effects have been around since the Second Generation of Pokemon and have affected battles in a variety of ways. How would you like to see the weather mechanic "change", so to speak, in the near future? Perhaps we'll get a fog-inducing move, or Castform will be able to change form in the sand, or maybe even a whole new type of weather all together. What do you think of the weather system now?

Here's an idea for a weather effect: Intense wind. It increases the power of Flying-type moves, decreases the power of Ground-type moves (wind blows away sand/dirt), increases the speed of lightweight Pokemon, makes Blizzard 100% accurate, and makes Weather Ball a Flying-type move. Perhaps even Castform would get a Sky form, during which it is a pure Flying-type.

I remember coming up with an idea like that, although I do like what you've done with the ground type moves. And a Flying type Castform would be cool! Also, Blizzard is already 100% accurate in Hail, if you didn't already know.

I'd like to see Hail increase the speed of Ice Types like it does on PMD. Hail is the least used Weather and it has the least bonuses. If not their speed then perhaps defense or Special attack.

I'd like to see the same for Sun and Rain; increasing the stats of Pokemon.

Sandstorm increases SpD; Hail should increase Speed; Sun should increase, idk Special Attack; Rain should increase Defense and a new weather should increase defense, maybe something like a ghostly fog that makes ghost moves and typing stronger.

Actually, I didn't know about Blizzard in Hail. But, how about Hurricane 100% accurate in heavy wind? That's a variation of Blizzard, anyway.

How about Snow as an additional weather condition? It could boost the power of Ice moves (I don't know what type of move this weather condition could weaken).

I've always thought Rain should do a little damage to fire, rock, and ground types each turn.

It would have been nice if they gave Castform a sand form aesthetic change and also a foggy one, I thought they would have done that in at least the 5th generation of Pokemon, so I think hopefully in the 6th generation, they will do that

The weather is okay, I have no problems with it

A couple types of weather I'd like to see:

Full Moon/Nighttime - Basically the opposite of Sun, except it raises the power or dark/ghost types moves, and possibly psychic as well. It could also increase the evasion of dark types by say...10% (maybe through an ability). I know Evasion boosts are annoying, but I'm just thinking of effects that would make sense.

Acid Rain - Rain with a poison typing. Causes damage each turn to non-steel/poison types, increases the power of poison type moves, and could make something like poison heal function as a rain dish type ability.
