Weather Teams

    I was wondering about weather teams are they good in competative battles? and I was wondering about them can someone help me out the ones I'm interested in is Hail and Rainy, and sunny day which pokemon would be suited for this help please.
     
    the problem with them is that they require alot to set up(This DOES NOT include sandstream) Rain dance and sunny day require solid set ups in order to work. Sand Storm doesnt require such set up because there are pokemonw ho come into play and make sand stream
     
    Well, certain abilities are good for certain weathers. You'll want a pokemon with snow cloak that knows hail. One pokemon that knows Swift Swim or Dry Skin that know rain dance or (if you have manaphy) hydration. And you'll want clorophyll or Solarbeam that knows Sunny Day. I only know a few pokemon with these abilities and Solarbeam is a common move for pkmn to learn through TM.

    Snow Cloak: Frosslass, Swinub/Piloswine/Mamoswine (you might want abomasnow with Snow Warning.)

    Swift Swim: Huntail, Gorebyss, Luvdisc (don't know anymore Kyogre might be good to have too and teach one of the pokemon Thunder)

    Dry Skin: Croagunk/Toxicroak will recover health from water type moves use against it as well.

    Clorophyll: Don't know any pkmn with this ability, but others might.

    SUNNY DAY

    Clorophyl: Oddish, Gloom, Vileplume, Bellosom, Exeggcute, Exeggutor, Bellsprout, Wepinbell, Victreebell, Hoppip, Skiploom, Jumpluff, Sunkern, Sunfloira, Tangela, Tangrowth, Tropius, Seedot, Nuzleaf and Shiftry.

    Leaf Guard: Hoppip, Skiploom, Jumpluf, Tangela, Tangrowth and Leafeon.

    Solar Power: Sunkern, Sunflora and Tropius.

    Dry Skin: Paras, Parasect, Croagunk and Toxicroak.

    Drought: Groudon.


    RAIN DANCE

    Swift Swim: Feebas, Goldeen, Gorebyss, Horsea, Huntail, Kabuto, Kabutops, Kingdra, Lombre, Lotad, Ludicolo, Luvdisc, Magikarp, Mantine, Omanyte, Omastar, Qwilfish, Relicanth, Seaking, Surskit, Finneon and Lumineon.

    Dry Skin: Paras, Parasect, Croagunk and Toxicroak.

    Hydratation: Seel, Dewgong, Manaphy and Phione

    Rain Dish: Lombre, Lotad and Ludicolo.

    Drizzle: Kyogre.


    HAIL

    Snow Cloak: Swinub, Piloswine, Mamoswine, Froslass and Glaceon.

    Ice Body: Snorunt, Glalie, Spheal, Sealeo and Walrein.

    Snow Warning: Snover and Abomasnow.

    I forgot the Sand Storm combos x_x but I hope this helps.

    It's best to go with a water team. Kingdra, Ludicolo and Kabutops mainly. As they each support the team in their own ways.
     
    I think I'll use a raindance team because of their variety plus I really like omastar thank you everyone ^_^
     
    kingdra is such a beast in the rain. it 2HKOs blissey with Waterfall lol.
