Discuss and comment on this weeks Pokemon episode, #344: A Double Dilemma!

This episode wasn't that bad actually. It was nice to see Ash and May battle it out for once to see who would win. Ash had the most disadvantage after battling all those annoying people though. :P Still...I couldn't figure out why the people in the town were so dense....You see a BLUE MAX, and yet they still say "hey it's Max!" Ignorant people. :P

    Overall, about an 8/10.

That battle was so illegal! May should've been disqualified when that Ember hit Ash, that is very illegal accordning to PKMN Leage rules!

I strongly agree. When I saw that Ember hit Ash dead on and the referee calling "unable to battle", I was very surprised. At least I'm glad to know there's someone out there who shares my opinion.

Yeah. The mob hated Ash and loved May. That's why the judge made such an unjust decision.

I really liked the episode. For some reason I tend to like the episodes that take place in a city alot more than the random ones in a forest where they meet some girl/guy and their pokemon. I thought the animation was done well, and I liked how all those people kept coming at Ash with their pokemon and he ended up knocking out like 6 pokemon with only one thundershock from Pikachu. That rocked.

This episode was actually quite good. When Ash got hit with that Flamethrower it reminded me of the old dys with charizard.

I agree with everyone about this episode being pretty good. I don't know, it seemed to have the feeling of some of the older episodes, especially with Team Rocket's role in it.

I don't think it's accurate to consider Ash and May's battle a real battle. It was more of a quickie and like some of you already mentioned, it was unjustified.

As for the ignorant people in the episode, true, but without them, we wouldn't have much of an episode. ;)

I agree. Long live Season 1.

I see they kept the "EMBEREMBEREMBEREMBER!" thing that May did, that was so funny! But when Ash practally turned to ash, that was so funny too.

Lol? well, this Friday. Then I may be able to see it. Read a synopsis, that'll tide me over XD

Without a doubt, Team Rocket, especially Wobba-Max, made the episode throughly enjoyable. The rest were actually pretty good themselves. I loved the super deformed May.

that's why it wasn't a gym battle nor do the rules for the PKMN league count here since only Ash participates in the league

Also I saw it in japanese, a very good ep. Very funny with the fake May/Max. I found it a very original ep and a good training for Ash! You've gotta admit that, even though there were tons of people wanting to battle him.

Well, Double Dilemma was a good episode, it brought back Golduck!!!. Isn't this like the 3rd Kanto Pokemon shown in this season? Ash being booed by everyone from North Petalburg was hilarious!!! :D May....She had too much papirazzi lol. TR WAs pretty cool but them people are stupid or blind if you ask me. Hello!!! Max does not look like Wobuffet and Meowth is no way near May.......I'd give it 8/10

Yet another episode that exemplifies why Ash is an excellent trainer. Pikachu took out four Pokemon all at once, plus Ash and his other Pokemon defeated a ton of trainers. Yeah, he lost to May, but the circumstances of that battle were a bit odd, so counting that against him doesn't seem logical.

Wow. I haven't laugh hard and enjoy an episode since who knows when. Everything's just crazy that makes this episode so enjoyable. Those "ignorant town people" drives me crazy (in a good way) that I just want to smack some sense into them. LOL

    Eh, I thought it was ok..... wasn't the only person hit by torchic's ember Ash? I don't think it hit taillow... You're supposed to beat the pokemon, not the trainer o_0;

Where are you guys getting these episodes? I only have one air a week, cause im in Canada.

In battle, Trainers are just as exposed to attacks as their Pokemon are. Maybe they were trying to emphasize that point. Granted it was unintentional, but that isn't always the case... (I mean, how many times have they used attacks on Jessie and James?)

I was actually expecting Ash to say something like, "Now I know how Team Rocket feels each time..."

How could the people not see that Wobbufett and Meowth were dressed up?

But the funniest part had to be when May when nuts and yells: EMBEREMBEREMBEREMBER!!!!! and torches Ash and TR, thats the best.
