(No, this is NOT the same as a weekly poll, get over it)

    Spoiler:

Basically, B/W introduced a whole lot of events that take place throughout the week. Do you like this change? Do you feel like it makes the pokemon world more alive, or more like a world that makes the same things go over and over again, more like a wheel of time or something?

    Discuss.

Meh. They're not amazing in my opinion.

To be honest there's always so many I just forget about them, I'll just come across them randomly if I'm lucky.

It's great that they've put in events like these everyday. Granted, most are not that interesting, and more per day would have been greatly welcomed... but this is definitely a nice start to what hopefully will be something they continue to do in future games.

I like the daily and weekly events. They are really cool and fun and also are something to do.

The Nimbasa courts are a good way to grind your Pokemon due to the lack of rematches pre-National Dex. So I'll be looking forward to that.

I love how there are lots of events, but I can't keep track of all this. I love how they've implemented lots of times, like the time the Royal Unova leaves, instead of it always being able to leave.

Didn't HeartGold & SoulSilver pretty much cover this? I guess BW took it one step further and probably has more things to do each day (instead of one-time things like finding gym leaders for phone numbers) but overall the sentiment is the same. I just see it as an extension of what's already in the game.

You really don't miss anything by not doing or remembering them all and if you do know what to do each day, it just adds some daily tasks you can look forward to. I'm all for it. :) I also just see them more as gameplay mechanics though--something to keep people playing every day moreso than filling the canon world. (I see seasons as the same sort of thing.)
