Weird Berry

My friend showed me some very weird berry, it looks like a black hot water bag with white marbling on it. He claims it to be an Enigma berry. Is they're such thing? If so, how do you obtain it?(my friend never tell it's locations)

It is not I that is playing, my friend(I never mention the name) plays Diamond.

You could get this berry by obtaining the event Darkrai, which would be holding the berry. I believe there is another way too.

It's a device used to scan cards you buy individually to unlock additional features in a game. I guess to get the berry into Diamond/Pearl, you might have to use the Pal Park, since I can't think of any other way of compatibility with the GBA and Nintendo DS.
