I think i've been watching too much pokemon but when i watched Dinosaurking i've seen many things i can relate to pokemon like:
Max the main character sounds like Ash
Ursula an Evil Lady Sounds Like Jesse
Plus some lyrics to the song:
Dinosaur king Pokemon
dinosaurking is what i want to be- I want to be the very best
Dinosaur king is my destiny- I know it's my destiny

so is there other shows that remind you of pokemon ?

I've never watched dinosaur king, but no after all it doesnt sound suspicous, most anime have the same voice actors.

Ive see dinosaur king before.Those 3 villains remind me of jesse,james,and Meowth.Seriously Cute animals/Dinos with massive powers.Pokemon Much.

It's the case of recycled 4kids voices, and the fact any "collect/befriend a certain amount of monster thingies" tends to have a lot of similarities.

Really, in a general summary any of those shows can 'relate' to pokemon. But besides the summary, I actually haven't watched anything that gives me the same feel as pokemon does. :)
