    Hello PC! I'm Draconicsoul, aka Sammi. I've been a Pokémon fan since... oh, third grade or so, and am now a third year college student. I think I may need an intervention.

    Anyway, I'm here to talk about Pokémon, and find out how I can help a friend with creating a ROM hack. She registered here a little while ago, but I don't know her Username, so I can't actually find her yet. ^^; I'll have to ask her. I've volunteered to be her pixel artist, since I've had some experience with spiriting. It's been a while since I've done custom Pokémon and trainers, but I had a 'shop' on Serebii back in high school. I've been practicing again, and am trying to gain some scratch pixel skills. (I made my avatar from scratch, so there's that.)

    The only problem I may have is the whole 'using a Mac' thing. (Art student!)

    Anyway, that's a little ramble about myself. Hi!

    Using a Mac is never a problem. Macs are epic and everybody should get over themselves and use one XD

    Anyway, hi Sammi! I'm Andy, it's nice to meet you. The ROM Hacking people here are crazy enthusiastic so I'm sure they'll be able to help you out :D

    Anyway, hopefully I'll see you around!

    Thanks, Andy! My main issue with my mac is that there aren't really many programming... er... programs I can use. Even if I already understood the coding and hex stuff that is being used in these hacks, I don't think that there are versions of the programs for non-windows users.

    Ah well, I'll try to help her as much as I can. She only came up with the idea a little while ago, so she's still writing the script and researching data and such.

    But I hope that I'll have fun here, it looks to be a little better of a community than Serebii ever was for me.

    Using a Mac is always a problem. Macs are glorified Fisher-Price activity centres for adults, rubbish aspirational ornaments with only one mouse button...[1]

    ...That's really no way to welcome someone and I should be ashamed of myself. :P Sorry! And welcome to PC. :D I see you've met Andy, who is very lovely and certifiably crackers, and I'm sorry I can't help you with your hacking difficulties because I iz stupid. (Although if the problem is that your programs aren't Mac-compatible, you could always try Boot Camp or Wine... he says, having no idea whether this will actually work. :P)

    Anyhoo! Hope to see you around the forums, and I'd love to see some of your sprite work if you post it. :) Toodles!

    Thanks. I know the problem is that I'm trying to run .exe's, but Wine doesn't want to work for me either. (I have been trying to figure it out for the better part of the afternoon.)

    I may post some of my newer sprites once I get going again, and once I figure out where to post them ^^;

    (also thanks go to iArtemis for the welcome!)
