So my mess was seen? Vixen thought, her tail wagging viciously as she watched carefully Was it the werewolf who found it, or someone else? Either way the big question is will the werewolf try to find me?

Well I guess waiting around would reveal the answer to me, She thought as she backed out from under the table slowly But it doesn?t seem to be tracking me yet and that probably means it does not feel like this place is it?s territory? It?ll be harder to get it?s attention because of that, I better just hand myself over for messing up the floor?

She leapt up on a chair, then to a table, laying down there in plain sight? her ears flat and her tail limp?

I deserve what I get for making that mess, how could I of done such a thing to the owner of this establishment?

?Tears ran from her eyes?

As Aniline stood up, she saw the bartender nod solemnly. "It seems you are not the only one I have met with such a diverged background," he bemused, turning his back one moment in serving another customer. "Either way, I would advise you to be careful. Even I, at such a weary age, have a bad premonition...oh, bad indeed..." he murmured.

?Bad promotion?? Aniline asked curiously, leaning forward, hoping to listen to more. But by then, the bartender turned around to serve someone else. She hung her head, clearly disappointed for a while. It was rare? when someone gets a promotion.

"Alright, who's the wise guy who made a mess under that table?!"

Startled, Aniline looked up to see a fox lying on the table, clearly ashamed. As it started to cry, Aniline walked over, asking with a concerned expression on her face,

?Are you okay??

Latenessh! XP

The moonlight shone in the dim, shivering night, while reflecting a glow from the antithesis of the moon?s location, the land environing the Sun?s bright light. And the forest of utter wonder rattled with nocturnal noises, snapped with the breaking of branches, and hooted with the voices of the dark. Harmony, completely lost in the darkness, forced herself to motion her way out of the forest. Either way, she would bump into the mighty poles growing from the ground or would be bitten by midnight shadows. How would she escape this blinding maze?

A gorgeous light was finally spotted. What was the original source of this sudden light? A new, venturing city? A nearby house full of friendly citizens? ?heaven? Harmony sped toward this spectral element and soon detected a door to open. Were there friendly people inside to invite her into their splendid home? Or were there cruel, selfish people inside to make a funny guffaw at the sight of her? She did not take the time to think, darkness would soon consume her.

Lights, food? friends! What a marvelous, little utopia she had spotted! Harmony could cherish such generosity of a break. Hunting for food, camping with the temporary fire, and surviving the cold had absorbed all of the energy she had in her. She waved to her ?friends? and glanced around for somewhere to rest for the night. Everywhere was filled. How could she have thought that this was even her home? For a second, Harmony had thought she should have dashed out the door but an empty seat caused her to pause. She smiled at the people and firmly sat on the wooden chair. Her boots felt wet and shivered by the cold item. Harmony peeked under the table and found that she had stepped on urine. She stood up in disgust and blushed with abashment. ?I guess I?ll clean this mess.?

Retro noticed the bartender talking something to the elf about strange backgrounds and premonitions. Next he hopped on was screaming at a ?FOX??? on the table. Retro recalled some of the books he had read and remembered that was a Kitsune ? a dangerous fox-like animal. Then suddenly he noticed the strange creature moving very fast across the tavern, and so so did the bartender?s eyes along with it.

Retro was about to utter something when he saw the bright moon overhead through a tavern window and heard the sound of a ?WOLF?. As he turned, he saw look on the bartenders face, it was pure terror. He also noticed others around him twitching. He knew he had to do something. He looked around and went to Elves near him. Elves were very skilled in Bows, potions and had some magic of their own. Though mages were not friendly with anyone, he couldn?t accompolish what he thought alone. He whispered to the elf ,?ELF ? Do you know what that sound is.?. As the elf turned around to face him, Retro could find no particular expression on its face, as if it was trying to hide its emotions.

Perry looked at the bartender confused. What had struck such fear in his eyes? Suddenly he heard a howl of a wolf, remembering the full moon overhead, he understood. He glanced at the others, some of them apeared to feel the same fear. He sat down at an empty seat away from the bar. Hopefully nothing would get violent. He glanced over at a fox, this place sure had a giant assortment of different things.

[OOC: Hai, hai~ =333 Mari ish soo predictable]
In the midst of a vast field, a child, merely ten years of age, indomitably strode forward through the tall grass that prevented her from moving in a quicker pace. She tightened her grasp on the thin cloth that served as her only guard for the raging wind and strained herself to continue on.

The smile on her lips was the most distinct feature of hers; it was so cheery and carefree, or rather, too cheery and carefree. One would assume that she would be crying, for she was lost in the middle of what would seem like nowhere, and of course, she had to continue with her current condition, which was not such a good thing as of now.

Yet still, she kept her pace and persisted on moving on, beaming in spite of her growing fever. A male spirit, knowing all of her situation, had revealed himself to the girl and blocked her way. She greeted him in her customary blissful way and was about to inquire about his sudden appearance when images flashed before her eyes. She gasped at the sight; it was a rare form of her Fortune Telling abilities, it was the type that would illustrate a horrible incident, leaving her oblivious of what it is, and where or when it would take place.

"Claude," She called; her voice unusually impassive. Her signature grin faded and her eyes altered to a lighter shade of cerulean. "A?mi?ss." She whispered hoarsely as she lifted her head and stared at the vague form of the moon.

"Your highness?" The spirit inquired apprehensively. He inspected the girl's face thoroughly, a worried frown forming upon his face. "Are you feeling worse?"

With blinking twice in confusion and shaking her head Sera had regained her poise. She faced the apprehensive spirit following her, forcing on a small smile. "Dai-jo-bu~!" She exclaimed contentedly, speaking in her friend's native tongue. "Now, let's go find a place to stay. It's getting colder every minute!"

As she spoke her complaint, she spotted a lone tavern not far from where she was. She eagerly dashed towards it, whilst making sure that the hood of her thin cloak was on her head, concealing herself. With a gentle push on the door, she slowly entered the tavern, relieved to see other humans, erm?other living humans.

?Are you okay??

Vixen looked up at the elf that had seemed so concerned, the only one who had payed her any real attention?
Does she know what I did? Vixen thought as she slowly got up, more tears ran down her face ? no, I doubt an elf could be that kind, but it is still comforting that someone cares. I will let her hold my and choose how I will suffer for what I did, she is the closest and I will not resist if she grabs me, then when she finds out what I did she will then have me in a position I can?t escape

Vixen Walked slowly towards the elf, though she didn?t go further than the edge of the table. She looked the elf in the eye; Vixen?s own eyes were shimmering with cuteness that could entrance any human but of course this was an elf she was dealing with, still she knew her eyes would make it clear she would not resist anything that was done to her?

I am also forgetting to answer her question, aren?t IShe thought, making herself more depressed How could she expect an answer from me when a fox can?t speak? Really I don?t deserve to talk to her but to leave her question unanswered is almost as bad as the mess I made? I?m sure she can tell I?m not okay by the fact she had to ask, but I still must answer

Vixen focus her mind to send a message to the elf, weaving an illusion of sound for only the kind elf to hear but also to make it clear what was happening ?No I am not alright, I did something wrong and I am sorry? but sorry is never enough alone?

colette- ty for joining.

The bartender sighed, staring at the fox with distaste.

"Do not ever stain this floor, ever again," he snarled, "lest you wish to be banished from this place- the only inn and tavern around for miles. Animals like you belong in the forest...and you're not the only animal," he said huskily under his breath, keeping it strangely short.

A piercing howl cut through the emerging silver moon. Most were oblivious, with more people coming in the tavern by the second. Either it was tiring to walk, or they were merely frightened.

Oh, he didn't like this.

From beneath his cloak, his aged hands gripped something tightly, for protection. Any minute...should he warn the tavern?

"You," he said stiffly to no one in particular, stepping behind the counter, "should be very aware of the fact something is going to happen. Especially you, the fox."

As seconds passed, Sera could not help but feel anxious of the sight she saw, moments ago. It seemed that the forewarning she received was no mistake, making her feel more anxious. She forced herself to stop thinking of such nonsense and kept repeating to herself that it was merely her imagination.

She was glad that, as soon as she entered the tavern, her thoughts seemed to alter and focused on the other beings inside. She recognized an elf, a kitsune, and a female mage; Sera had no idea of what a mage would look like, but by searching deep within her eyes, she was immediately reminded of a mage, a pure one at that. There were more, each different from the other and it made her so excited just to see them. She wished she could speak with all of them, but she knew better than to be an interruption to someone.

After hearing a rather sharp howl, Sera paid no heed to it, assuring herself that all was well, and scanned the room. She looked over at everyone staying in the tavern and took note of their distinct features, finding herself extremely amazed at some of them. She took note of the bartender as well, and albeit she was the densest creature in the whole universe, according to one of her spirit friends, she noticed a hint of fear gleaming in his eyes.

With curiosity and worry, she approached the bartender, after making sure her cloak was still doing its job, and flashed him a soft, yet worried smile. "Pardon my inquisitiveness, but is there anything a matter, mister?"

She made sure that she masked her high pitched voice by forcing herself to speak in a deeper tone. Claude had advised her of this, telling her that it would be best that only a few know that she is but a child.

The fox looked up, it?s eyes shining sadly, but yet cute at the same time? Aniline felt drawn to this creature, netherless what it did.

Aniline wan?t expecting for it to reply, but it did through telepathy. ?No I am not alright, I did something wrong and I am sorry? but sorry is never enough alone?

As the young elfin girl opened her mouth to answer, the bartender strode over and sighed, staring at the fox with distaste.

As he lectured the fox, Aniline was lost in her own thought, only a howl pierced through her thoughts, making Aniline?s gaze shoot towards the outside windows. It sounded like mere wolves, but? was it the legendary werewolves?

"You," he said stiffly to no one in particular, stepping behind the counter, "should be very aware of the fact something is going to happen. Especially you, the fox."

Aniline?s face scrunched into worry, was this the promotion he had?

?Well duh? Vixen said telepathically to both the bartender and the elf, clearly giving her a pointless warning had taken her mind off what she had done for the moment ?I?m a Kitsune, and we only are around when something is going to happen, usually it?s because someone want?s us to stop them running into a life threatening situation or out of greed??

Well that was pointless to say, She thought to herself as she glared at the bartender Well at least the elf was kind enough not to do anything to me, still she is an elf so I better not get too attached to her, she isn?t worth it? really I still need to be punished, but thinking an elf would handle a wild animal was stupid of me, they usually wouldn?t be caught dead near any creature that hadn?t had regular thorough washing to make sure they was no filth on it, I hear they will never even keep pets because of how unhygienic they consider them? I could be wrong about this but if I right then I can?t just sit around like that?s okay

Vixen turned back to the elf and leapt at her, landing with her front paws on the elf?s shoulder, though it was clear she would be unable to hang on for long and that the fall to the ground would not end with a soft landing, the fact it would only be a short fall only meant she?d survive it.

Now for the reaction of a female elf, Vixen thought in the moment where she wouldn?t fall, while knowing full well that she would unless the elf made an attempted to stop her from doing so It?ll tell me whether what I?ve heard about elves is true, and will tell me how I should feel about her

"Pardon my inquisitiveness, but is there anything a matter, mister?"

The kind voice startled the bartender...almost. His deep cerulean eyes gazed upon the figure, most likely no older than ten. Her voice hinted something else, however.

"Of course something's the matter," he replied absentmindedly. "Almost everything is these days, but I would advise you to go and protect yourself while you're at it."

The kitsune telepathic voice interrupted him. The bartender flashed her a glare.

And you, shut it.

Before more conversation could proceed, another howl echoed through the night. The sound echoed through the air like ripples, washing over and bestowing silence. The aged man hurried over to a window, face anxiously growing pale as the moon increasingly became visible and full. With an alarming speedy walk, he blocked the entrance to the door.

"He's in here," the bartender whispered furiously, "don't let him get away."

People in the tavern looked about curiously. They could not see anyone abnormal of some sort, unless...

That cloaked figure in the corner grinned and stood up.

OOC: you attempt to stop it. Notice my words. attempt. X3

Retro thought about the elf and whether to ask for its help. An Elf was a very powerful, smart creature that could even sometimes know about the future. But this elf was very quiet and its eyes were locked on the Kitsune. As he saw the Kitsune, he could see it focus on something and it looked like it was about to cry. Though what really shocked him was the look on the Bartender?s face ? it was pure horror. He looked as if he wanted to announce something [OOC: I?m not powerplaying]. Retro walked slowly to the Elf and looked around the tavern. As he did, he could see his long beard filled with wisdom swinging across his head. The suddenly he could hear another Howl, and many of the tavern customers looked up this time.

An Aged man who was talking to the bartender walked up to the tavern entrance in a flash as the bartender was whispering something. The Cloaked figure got up. "Of course ", said Retro to himself. How could he have missed it? Tonight was Full-Moon and the Rumours of a Werewolf attack were increasing these days. "Tonight was the night", he prophesised to himself. The Werewolf here was just looking for the right time and place to attack, it was only a common one. Though Retro could not place the Old man, he sensed a feeling of Deja Vu as he looked at him.
He went to the elf and asked, " Elf do you know what will happen soon".

?Well duh? the fox said using telepathy, I?m a Kitsune, and we only are around when something is going to happen, usually it?s because someone want?s us to stop them running into a life threatening situation or out of greed??

A Kitsune? Aniline thought curiously, she?d seldom heard of them?

Though a leap coming from the Kitsune caught her off guard, she leapt on to her shoulders, knocking her down to the floor. ?Owww?.? Aniline mumbled, a grimace on her face. Her ankle had grown even worse with that tackle.

?What?s wrong?? Aniline asked the Kitsune, confusion clearly on her face. But before she could reply, another howl cut through the cheerful atmosphere of the tavern. Aniline got to her feet cautiously, fingering the grove of her bow.

"He's in here," the bartender whispered furiously, "don't let him get away."

That cloaked figure in the corner grinned and stood up, and almost instantly, Aniline felt a wave of nausea wash over her. It?s him! The werewo? Aniline was about to chase after it when?

"Elf, do you know what will happen soon?" Aniline whirled around to face a mage with silver hair and dressed in all black, which contrasted sharply.

?All I know is this - something very, very bad is going to happen.? she said softly, glancing warily at the clocked man.

?Sorry, I didn?t mean to hurt you,? Vixen apologised telepathically ?I thought an elf would be able to take my weight, clearly I was mistaken because of your injury? still we must stop that werewolf from escaping, since you are weak at this time you should keep your distance, though it does look like that?s what your used to anyway? Just try to avoid shooting an arrow through me, that sort of thing can a bad day worse?

Well I should of noticed the werewolf earlier but I suppose it?s just good at hiding, She thought to herself as she made a dash to the tavern door, hoping to reach there before the werewolf? of course she knew all to well that a humanoid form would be better in a fight, but the body of a fox had a better chance of getting to the door first Now how can I stop it? Really it?s probably too stupid to trick, it probably even incapable of understand words that are said? Okay that?s a bit of a stereotyped view, it?s just that a disease is common in werewolves that sort of melts human minds and then depending on how much wolf they are determines how much their thinking is impaired

As the bartender spoke his furious and rather inaudible warning, Sera scanned the tavern, wondering what he had meant. Surely there was no being inside the humble tavern that was capable of doing horrid things.

She hesitantly agreed to her thoughts, but she still found herself pacing around the tavern, searching for some answers to clear her undying curiosity.

That was when she heard an Elf?the kind-looking elf she spotted moments ago?speaking to a man about a danger of some sort. Being that she abruptly forgot, or rather disregarded, the bartender's warning, she was oblivious of what they were speaking of. And, knowing that she is unable to hold in her curiosity, she ambled towards the elf and the man, grinning silly.

"Forgive my intrusion, but if you can, could you please tell me what you meant about 'something very bad is going to happen'?" She inquired naively, beaming still. She had not the tiniest bit of knowledge of what was happening; it was only natural for her to act as she would.

OOC : Who the heck is this old man

As Retro as the the female elf she replied ?All I know is this - something very, very bad is going to happen.?. Retro stared for a moment at the Elf and as he looked down he saw that her legs were injured. He knew that she couldn?t run much. So he said, ?Elf if you are able to move, come help me, if not try to shoot arrows from here. A werewolf?s eye is his weak spot? and moved quickly towards the door as did the, he saw the Kitsune there. ?Hmm?.?, he said softly and realized that he couldn?t stop the wolf alone. Though a Kitsune was physically weak, it had some amazing powers which he knew he could use. He took out his staff, and moved in long strides and blocked the kitsune?s way.
He said ?We need to work together?, though unsure the fox?s mind and response.

((OOC - Man, I'm late! o.o And CC, I suppose the 'old man' is either you or the bartender, I guess. ;p))

?Sorry, I didn?t mean to hurt you,? The Kitsune apologised telepathically ?I thought an elf would be able to take my weight, clearly I was mistaken because of your injury? still we must stop that werewolf from escaping, since you are weak at this time you should keep your distance, though it does look like that?s what your used to anyway? Just try to avoid shooting an arrow through me, that sort of thing can a bad day worse?
Aniline nodded to her, face set in determination. "Okay." she replied as she watched the Kitsune dash away.

But as she prepared to arch her arrow, a voice asked, "Forgive my intrusion, but if you can, could you please tell me what you meant about 'something very bad is going to happen'?" A girl around the age of ten inquired naively, beaming still.

Aniline mentioned to the cloaked figure in the corner, who was grinning darkly. "It's him." she replied simply.
The Mage replied suddenly,?Elf if you are able to move, come help me, if not try to shoot arrows from here. A werewolf?s eye is his weak spot" he said before rushing out the door.

"I'll prefer to stay here!" she called out to him while arching her arrow, and let it fly.

"Hn? Him?" She inquired no one in particular in a rather unbelieving way.

She saw nothing eerie about him, okay maybe the fact that he was grimly grinning was a tad uncanny, but she saw nothing else muddled. Perhaps it was her naivety, as her spirit friends said, but still, she found it hard to see darkness within a person, and believes that everyone was good.

But, if she said so, then he must be evil. She thought as she intently glanced at the cloaked man. She uncertainly conceded to her thoughts, deciding that it would be better for her to help the others, rather than just watching?rather than being helpless.

"Claude." Sera whispered softly, turning back from the female elf and the mage. "Let's help the others."

"But, your highness!" Claude protested worriedly, his hands were clasped together and his eyes were filled with worry. "You have a fever, milady! If you perform rash actions, you're fever will only worsen."

"I'll be fine," Sera responded, her tone still hushed, "but I do need your help."

Nodding knowingly, Claude concealed himself in the shadows, making him undetectable, even to Sera's eyes. "Call me once you believe that it is time, your highness." He whispered softly before disappearing completely.
