[Sword & Shield] What’s your current team?

If there is already a thread like this, I apologise, feel free to merge this one. Anyway, the point of this thread is to post your current team in whatever gen8 playthrough you guys are doing!

For me in my Shield nuzlocke I'm currently right at the city of the 2nd gym, most likely will grind up the weaker members of my team. So here is my team!

Sofia the Raboot Naive, Loves to eat, Lvl 24

Yes, I got a female starter on the first try. And also, so far she is really good. I also decided to play Shield instead of Sword because I knew the next run I would do would pick the one gen8 starter I haven't used yet and Sheild's gyms seemed more manageable for the rabbit as there was an Ice gym and no Rock gym and all.

Samuel the Drilbur Impish, Nods off a lot, Lvl 21

I wish he got that other ability instead of Sand force but he also has been very solid. I'm hoping for him to stay alive the whole way through to avenge the Excadrill I had in one of my previous gen8 nuzruns who died nobly as a sacrifice.

Lizzi the Ludicolo Lax, Capable of taking hits, Lvl 23

And so I have all 3 starter types covered here! She also has been really good and I plan to use her as my counter for the upcoming water gym.

Katya the Linoone Naive, Highly curious, Lvl 22

Hasn't fought in anything too important yet, but has very good potential. I very, VERY much stand by the fact that ther REALLY shouldn't have been 2 Normal/Dark regional variant in a row and I don't care if this one is different. But I have been greatly growing on Obstagoone as of late and I am very greatly anticipating that stage.

Jensen the Vanillite Careful, Somewhat vain, Lvl 22

So here we go, my special wall for the time being! Literally almost everyone else has a sp.def reducing nature or naturally bad at taking special attacks so this is what we have here. So far, he is pretty solid! I don't have as high expectations of him as everyone else but hopefully he will impress me in the long run.

Caressa the Toxel Hardy, Mischievous, Lvl 21

Hooray, I got a Amped form nature on the first try, and it's not something that reduces Sp.attk! I have high hopes for her, and I am excited for the time she evolves.

As for deaths, just one, a Rookidee who died to Lizzi as I was trying to catch her. Really can't keep those things alive.

Nice, seems like a reasonable and well balanced team! Be careful of that ice gym, there are multiple Water / Ice pokemon (Cloyster and Lapras) which will trip you up and kill your starter if you don't have plans specifically for them. Since the only pokemon which have super effective moves against them which are not totally dunked on in turn are electric and fighting pokemon, that Toxel is going to need to put in some work. Just as a heads up.

I don't really have a team per se any more, as I'm in postgame and I assemble pokemon based on the specific activity I'm doing. Most of the time my team is a Coalossal, my Eternatus, and 4 eggs. For the Champions Cup, my team was 6 Garbodor, as I took it as a personal challenge to beat them with a team comprised of nothing but pokemon which were literally trash. The fact that my 6 Garbodor team now comes up on launch to commemorate that and to prove I did it makes me very happy. For the battle tower, I'm playing around with the following:

Silvally (Electric Memory) - Lead, w/ Rain Dance, Parting Shot, Explosion, and Multi Attack

Dracovish (Choice Scarf) - Comes out once Rain is established (ideally), has Fishious Rend and 3 moves that will never see use unless his item is removed: Dragon Rush, Crunch, and Ice Fang

Eternatus (Choice Specs) - For when Special Attack is needed, or Dracovish is unsafe to deploy, has Flamethrower, Dynamax Cannon, Sludge Wave, and Shadow Ball

Just finished assembling a battle worthy team w/ them yesterday, not much practical experience yet but so far so good.
