What Are The Best Teams To Use In Pokemon Stadeium One?

I got all the way to Prime Cup Master Ball and can never win. So what are the best teams to use not just in Prime Cup but in all cups?

IIRC you can use Mewtwo in the Master Ball, so that's always a good start. If you don't like using legends, Alakazam does the job just as well. Get a special sweeper like Starmie (Surf/Ice Beam/Thunderbolt/Psychic), physical sweeper like Nidoking (Earthquake/Sludge Bomb/Double Kick/Hyper Beam) and some defensive Pokemon like Chansey and Slowbro to help you out. If you're really bored, break out the legendary birds (Zapdos is my fave, but all three can help).

Ah, the old days of RBY. So nostalgic.

Chansey is useful on just about every team. It'll shrug off special attacks like nothing and it can Counter back physical attacks as well. You can also use it against Mewtwo, since it can easily survive a Psychic and can cripple it with Thunder Wave or Sing.

Chansey
- Thunderbolt
- Ice Beam
- Softboiled
- Sing/Thunder Wave/Counter

For a physical sweeper, use Tauros. This guy is just so good. Just about nothing can stop it, and it's even better if you use Chansey to paralyze faster opponents.

Tauros
- Body Slam
- Blizzard
- Hyper Beam
- Earthquake

For a special sweeper, consider at least one of the following four Psychic types: Alakazam, Starmie, Slowbro, Jynx, or Exeggutor.
All of them can learn paralyze and/or sleep moves, which are very important in RBY since there is no way of healing status except for Rest (and Rest sucks in RBY).
