well ithink 120 base damage (choice banded shadow ball) should def be able to take out or nearly take out aerodactyl.
 
but Aerodactyl is just as fast as Crobat...
 
the point is w/ nature and/or evs will make the diff. the thing is, most ppl w/ fast pokemon dont put evs further into it, or have the speed nature. so if u do have either (probably best to jsut put a few evs in speed) then u will def go faster, making u go 1st b/c they wont expect it.
 
Frost, you forget that Rock Slide could miss. And and whats this? Lum Berry Metagross? It HP Steels Dactyl for a 100% chance of OHKO if it lands it.
 
does choice band go w/ base or after stab has taken effect? same with ability like swarm, or raindance/sunnyday... wut is the order?
 
ya i like kingdra cuz it only has 1 weakness. it is good if u give it the right attacks, but it still doesnt have as good stats as the rest, which is why less ppl use it. but for tank/lasting use toxic, surf, rest, ice beam. (chesto or lum, but most like leftover, b/c doesnt have ne weaknesses but dragon so it can do the 2 turn penalty)

Then why are you putting speed into Crobat? FYI, anything with 130 base speed usually has +speed and 252 speed EVs on it, bringing it to 394 speed, which is AERODACTYL

*Puts hand on face and then drags it off* Crobat, Aerodactyl and Jolteon's standered personality is always + Speed - Useless stat (like Atk in Jolteons case). Now look at it this way, your strange Crobat is out with Choice Band, Dactyl is out too. Dactyl attacks you with Rock Slide or HP Rock, your almost gone. Crobat Shadow Balls, Dactyl doesn't faint because of no STAB. Dactyl finishes you off. Thats how I'm seeing it, atleast on NB anyways.
 
aaaaaaaaaactually, Crobat would be gone from an SE STAB attack from dactyl any day, IMHO.
 
wut bout the stab it practically gets w/ chocie band from shadow ball
 
only it goes first, and it gets no STAB on shadow ball.
 
the point is, will 120 damage base (80+40 from choice band) be enough to nealry kill, if not kill aerodactyl. i know most rock types have strong def, but flying types have weak def, and aerodactly is both.
 
... Or you can learn pokemon

- choice band raises attack by 1.5, not attack power.
- Aerodactyl has naturally weak defense, it's in its base stats, not in its type. But Crobat isn't all that hot either without EVs

Please, for the love of whatever you might love, make the freaking team already, your theorizing is complete and utterly wrong, and you're not making yourself any more credible by claiming silly things.
 
*cough* A terrible mistake on Frosty's part... mistaken Ninjask to get rain dance, which it cannot. Guess I wasn't paying too much attention and was actually viewing another Pokemon or something.

However, that's still ok... Ninjask can always use toxic/silver wind instead I guess. But the team now takes a MAJOR Nerf =/

It's as good as let's just scrap the whole team and redo >>;
 
Ninjask may not, but Electrode does, and Electrode is also fast and UU'd :)

I considered it... but the problem with that is...

a) earthquake OHKOs Electrode
b) Electrode can't kill Gengar/Wobbuffet, who can always perish song trap aero and electrode *MAJOR thing*
c) Electrode will be outrun in weather, and Ninjask will not
 
But you forget, If electrode is out against Quakers, it swaggers and Aero kills quaker. If you meant sacrificing trode so Aero can be stronger, so be it, it's not like Quake won't hurt Omastar either.

As well, Trode does go m00b on Wobby, that is if it doesn't die to Aero first. Gengar wise, Aero is another OHKO there with its Swagger

And weather wise... which pokemon are we talking about? you wouldn't rain dance against swift swimmers, so you'd be faster. If they swift swim, they prolly die to Tbolt, and a helping of Rock slide/HP flying that turn, if not, go m00b or whatnot.
 
well for the swift swim thing, I was referring to how after RD is in effect, and say Aerodactyl knocked out 2 of the opponents, then they decide to send in SSers... ._.;
 
i know u probably are like no crobats b/c of what i said, but crobat does have high speed, and can definetely use attacks that are psycial very well. ortherwise just use a sharpedo. even tho no swift swim it has good speed, good attack and sp attack and with moves like earthquake, surf, ice beam, and crunch, it can definetely clear its weaknesses (for water at least and bug too) and totally 1hko ghost and psychic types! even tho it has super low defs, u can easily give it a good item, ie bright powder, inorder to help it survive. rough skin could possibly help too if it will surive it.
*notice i didnt make fun of you or anything when u made a mistake, also i checked serebii b4, but didnt say to you about the ninjask, i didnt want to ruin your confidence... maybe i should have,but i thoguht it would be mean... sorry if u thought i should...
