*Fake rumour alert button goes off the scale* That was a fake rumour. Your Pokemon can absolutely adore you, or completely despise you, and Ralts would still only appear 4% of the time. And please don't stray offtopic. Thanks ^_^

sorry mr cat dog. yeah ralts is hard 2 find, like dunsparce on silver in dark cave, but easier.

I don't know but probably about twice as much as getting a shiny, at least
 
holy mother of....wow O_O;;

I've only ever encountered ONE shiny pokemon, and never had pokerus :p
 
Lol. If you want a moveset I sort of recommend this:

~Calm Mind
~Recover
~Psyhic
~Thunderbolt (or something similar)

Dont take my word for it tho coz I dont use Gardevour all that much. It needs another moveslot or 2 for stuff like Reflect lol.
 
Destiny bond is fun for the last spot and WoW an help you set up against physcial attackers as your defense isn't that great

Chance of finding Ralts: 1/25 (5^-2)
Chance of finding a shiny: 1/8192 (2^-13)
Chance of finding Pok?rus: 3/65536 ((3^1)(2^-16))
Chance of finding a Modest Pok?mon: 1/25 (5^-2) (this counts because Modest is Gardevoir's ideal nature)

Put it all together:
3/335544320000 chances (1 in 111848106666)!
That's, rounded to 3 sigfigs, a 0.000000000894% chance... or 8.94*10^-12 to one.

In short, visit any flying saucers lately?

actually, the rarest pokeon that can be caught is on route 123

celebi: 1 in 20 mil
shiny: 1 in 8 thou
pokerus: 1 in 20 thou
modest nature: 1 in 25

so heres the equation:

20,000,000 * 8,000 * 20,000 * 25 =

8e16 says my calculator. but i say:

160,000,000,000 * 20,000 =

3,200,000,000,000,000 * 25 =

80,000,000,000,000,000!!!

so the odds of finding a shiny celebi with pokerus that has a modest nature are 1 in 80 Quadrillion!!!
(where 1 is thousand, 2 is million, 3 is billion and 4 is trillion and 1 = 000) its pretty complicated math, but when you get down to it, its pretty easy.
 
because my friend carlos traded me it from his ruby version. and i saw the whole thing. he used his master ball on it (which costed him when he fought groudon. its level 26 when he caught it and i raised it 4 levels. even though its a glitch, its still the only legitimate way of catching it unless nintendo makes a promotion in which they give it to us. either that or we have to wait for diamond and pearl to come out and have it transfered from there somehow onto our game paks.

subtopic: paerl and diamond will be compatible w/ RuSaEmFRLG because of the gba slot. itll work just like how poklemon box does. even though im ot allowed to tell you this, this is how its done. dont ask me where i got this info from because i wont tell you. but you can rest assured that there is no 'generation barrier'.

Congratulations, you are one lucky person to catch something rare like that. Although, why do you people seem to say that catching Ralts is hard? I have encountered them all the time without much difficulty... then again, maybe I'm just lucky...
 
I'm gonna have to congratulate you on your find. It's like an all in one package deal.

Of course, it were female, then I'd be jealous...
 
it took me 40 minutes to find a ralts, i was in the right grass the whole time....


But i am disgustingly unlucky. I've played for years and years, and have never seen a shiny or pokerus....

Meanwhile, my brother restarts his game (because i pwned him in battle.... lol) and 15 mins later he says "i just got a shiny shroomish" (and he doent even like breloom like i do :(

then 5 mins i hear "what is poke-rust"

i swear, i wanted to smack that kid....
 
no way, how not cool is that?? your brother gets it and he doesn't even know anything about it. I would have told him that meant it was going to die but if he traded it to me I'd fix it for him, because he wasn't far enough in the game to do it himself. I'd keep it to, and give him a regular one saying the cure made it un-shiny too, sorry :P i'm such a liar :D
 
well, it probably wasn't the shiny that had poke-rus... he caught like 20 guys.... still... im mass annoyed...


oh well, i always have my macho brace.....
 
how true. sadly, I have no specimens of either shiny or Pok?rus Pok?mon. *sigh* and i've been playing so long too...

You had a 1 out of 1677721600 or 5.9604644775392 * 10^-4 or .00059604644775392 chance of obtaining a raltz (4/1000) shiny (1/8192) and Pokerus (1/8192), thats amazing luck, i commend you!

And Mr. CatDog, you did the maths inaccuratly, the formula is:

% = (4/100) * (100)
% = 4%

% = (1/8192) * (100)
% = 1.220703125% * 10^-2

% = (1/8192) * (100)
% = 1.220703125% * 10^-2

% = 1.220703125% * 10^-2 * 1.220703125% * 10^-2 * 4%
% = 5.9604644775392 * 10^-4
