But what's this? On the newer versions Fire Red/Leaf Green, you appear to be sitting on a flat, blue Pokemon. But which Pokemon is it?

Matine? Remorade?

I do not know..in this thread discuss which Pokemon you think it is..Yes it might seem stupid, but I have no idea what it is and it is driving me crazy.

I know? it's supposed to be R/B/Y at the top and then there's a seperating line and then it switches over to Fire Red/Leaf Green...If I said you turn into a Seel FR/LG

It's Kyogre? I'm not too familiar with the Ruby and Saphire versions, so is Kyogre the one on the front of Pokemon Saphire?

Yeah that's okay, but I thought Kyogre had wing-like arms.. or atleast that's what I think it shows on the Saphire box..but in FR/LG, while surfing, it's just a circle with two little tail fins.....

Well,if you guys had noticed.

Before you enter the Aqua Hideout in Lilycove there is a Aqua member guarding the passage to Mossdeep and if you talk to him he says "me and these wailmar are guarding the passage"Those wailmar are exact copys of the thing you surf on.

So in conclusion i say the thing you surf on is most definitly a WAILMAR.

It's a sprite. That's that. Programmers were too lazy or something then. You want individual sprites? Go work for NoJ/NoA and make the sprites for them.

Happy Dude is correct. It is a Wailmur, just like in Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire. Just most of it is underwater so it appears to resemble an armless Kyogre.

demonchaos916, I agree with you, Pok?mon was made to be unreal and so, not very developted in that kind of terms.

I didn't mean it like that. I meant that it would be like more realistic because you surf on the pokemon you choose, not the same sprite for everyone pokemon.
