What are your favorite pokemon nicknames?

    I'm a chronic nicknamer -- I know there have to be others. What are your favorite nicknames you've given your pokemon?

    Mine are:

    Torchic (female) -- "Scootaloo"
    Hydrageon -- "Rasputin"
    Shapedo -- "Sharknado"
    Luxray -- "Surgio"
     
    Heh, that Torchic nickname gave me a laugh. I can't say that I've got any favorite Pokemon nicknames off the top of my head, even though I nickname all of my non-legendary Pokemon. I tend to go with a theme when naming my Pokemon in each game, so with Pokemon Y, I chose the names of celestial bodies (planets, moons, etc.), but also tried to make them relate to the people they were named after. Out of the Pokemon I have, my favorites were Triton (god of the sea) for Blastoise, Ceres (goddess of agriculture + plant life) for Chesnaught, and Charon (ferryman of Hades) for Absol.

    Oh, and since this a thread that relates more to the Pokemon games than the series as a whole, I'm going to move this over to Pokemon Gaming Central for you.

    I usually choose my nicknames from other franchises, mythology and science. Some I just choose as a joke, but they stick and that's cool. Here are my favorites:

    Blastoise - Leonardo (Or any other ninja turtle);
    Lucario - Anubis;
    Zekrom - Tesla;
    Raichu - Volta;
    Scyther - Zoro;
    Bisharp - Iron Man;
    Hawlucha - Jesus (Not the religion Jesus, but the Mexican wrestler Jesus);


    I can't remember some right now, but once I do, I'll post them.
     
    I named my entire Black 2 team after a trope from the addictive TV Tropes, Five-Man Band.

    Samurott: The Leader
    Sawk: The Lancer
    Arcanine: The Big Guy
    Espeon: Smart Guy
    Clefable: The Chick
    Flygon: 6th Ranger

    Outside of that team, there are two other nicknames that I really like.

    Honchkrow: Donna (A rather silly pun to the word don, but it works considering that Honchkrow is a mafia boss. xP)
    Torterra: Tank (Named after a certain rainbow horse's pet.)
     
    I Do Nuzlocke Challenges everytime so the nicknames are all very different xD but I do have some favourite nicknames that I don't usually change.

    Mudkip - Aquakip ( First pokemon game ruby, chose mudkip and gave this name)
    Crogunk - Tysonn
    Zigzagoon - Ziggler
    Zorua - Shadow
    Cyndaquil - Blaze
     
    So far my favorite nicknames come from the seven themes I have used for my teams. Course it would take too long to list all 42 nicknames, I will just list the leaders of each of those teams

    Blastoise (Delta) - leader of my Star Wars Republic Commando Squads team in Blue
    Feraligatr (Galvatron) - leader of my Decepticons team in Soul Silver
    Swampert (Revan) - leader of my Star Wars Sith Lords team in Sapphire
    Empoleon (Napoleon) - leader of my World Leaders team in Platinum (yes I have heard jokes about the nickname)
    Samurott (Durendal) - leader of my Legendary Weapons team in White
    Samurott (John Rambo) - leader of my Anti-Heroes team in White 2
    Greninja (Enterprise) - leader of my World War II Ships team in X
     
    I'm not too big on nicknaming, sadly. From all Pokémon I had given a nickname to, I'd say my most favorite would likely have to be Blaziken, which went by "Karate Master." Not very creative, I know, but that's me, I suppose; when it comes to naming certain things, I'm honestly not that great. Wish I were! Alongside, another of my favorite would probably have to be "Water Turtle," which was a Blastoise.
     
    My axew is named iwant102spd . Because haxorus is slower than garchomp. My wigglytuff is EatItUp because it eats everything up lol. My dodrio is named Triangle because trio and tri mean 3, and if you connected the heads, it would make a TRIangle. And I like geometry...
     
    I'm a big Nuzlocke/YouTube person, so I try to nickname all of my Pokémon really weird and funny stuff.
