Btw, there is also a bridge to the spring at 4th lake...which is outside of turnback cave...wil lthat be another event?

The stone is part of an event to get Shaymin. The unobtainable (without cheating or Nintendo events) item Oak's Letter starts the Shaymin event.

I don't think there's any significance to the bridge over Sendoff Spring, though.

That bridge is to make you lose time getting to Turnback Cave. But there's nothing programmed there.

Also, that spring is actually pretty good for attack EVs. ;)

in route 224 there is a funny stone and there is going to be an event and you get a letter and a route appears you go up there and you find a shaymin which is a hedgehoggy thing that is crap and in the 4th spring there is a giratina if you go to the back of the cave
