4th Gen What Did You Name You, Your Rival, and Your Pokemon?

I just started today. I named my character Mike (my name) and my rival will be named Ekim probably. I named my starter Arbre.

i name my charater Morten and my rival zack coz i had a bullie at school named zack aha werid.....

I honestly can't remember what I actually named my rival. Oops.

As for my main character, I used a shortened version of my real name. I have no idea why, as I dislike my name. Sigh.

My Pokemon are all named after either literary or historical figures. My starter is called Holden (Catcher in the Rye). I have an Umbreon called Buckingham, after George Villiers, the Duke of Buckingham... And a Slowpoke named after King Charles I.

I won't go into detail about the rest. I'm a massive nerd, clearly.

rival: Jace. After Diamond I started always naming my rival Jace because the rival in D/P looks like Jace from City of Bones, and then it stuck...
Pokemon: I always nickname then their final evolution name, but using proper capitalization cuz i cant stand NAMES IN ALL CAPS. :P

I wanted to name myself "Ethan," because that's the character's official name. But my brother didn't like the name so I named him "Matthew."

I named my rival "Kamen" ('Cause I already named some other playable character "Kamon" lol)
