4th Gen What did you name yourself and rival in D/P/Pt?

Diamond:
Me: Superbob
Rival: Devin

Platinum:
Me: Superbob
Rival: David
 
In Diamond I`m Maury
and Platinum I choose the girl and I pick 4 her Lumau
and my Rival has the name name in both games...Culey
because he is WEIRD!!!
 
I gave myself my real name in Diamond.
In Platinum I named myself Mecond.
In both games, my rival's name is Charlie. He's a friend of mine.
 
Diamond I took the usual action, call myself Mike (self explanitory if you've read my username) with my best friend who also still plays Pokemon (never too old!) is what my rival is named after, which is Saul.

However, in Platinum, I used my nickname (Waffle) and my rival became a newcomer which I envy in real life. Called David B (B for Boreanaz), I want to rival him, for I wish I was as hunky as that guy. Damn he's too attractive.

Rival - Ralph (just one preset names)

Diamond:
Player - Elah (using the female character, named from someone being jumbled)
Rival - Barry (just like in the anime)

I always name my character with my real name, Stephen. My rival has always been named Eric, except for FR, LG coz he was really Gary Oak.

Me: Zachias (sounds nice, in my opinion)
Rival: Quinton (wanted an odd name)
 
On Diamond, I named myself Aden (my real name 8D) and I named my rival f*ggot. XD;
I was bored.

In Pokémon Pearl I named myself Shinell [I chose the girl] while my rival was named Barry. In Pokémon Platinum, my character was the same Shinell and my rival was the same Barry. Since I always name myself Shinell and pick the girl, that is why my names are the same in both games. I like to follow the anime names so I chose the english name for Rival Jun, Barry.

In Platinum, my main character is named Luna, and the rival is Pearl. It's only my first playthrough, so there's really not much to tell.
