Well, of course, this depends on religion and how people are strict about it or not. For example, my friend that moved from the 6th grade had the religion that mead his family celebrate Hannakuh, but they celebrated Christmas. I don' think it's against the law, by the way. xP

On another note, I was just wondering what everyone celebrates. You're allowed to post that you celebrate Christmas.

For me, my parents are turkish, so I get presents on a holday (See this website for more information: https://www.allaboutturkey.com/bayram.htm ) and then on New Years, our family gets more presents. Though all I want this year is a New guitar and a new Computer, I can get two times more presents than people who celebate christmas. But, hey, I'm not trying to brag. xD Oh and, I still like to do christmas crafts, things for the yard that are christmas-y; I do live in America. Plus the legend says Santa was born in Turkey.

Please vote in the poll and post if you vote other.

There's no laws/rules against celebrating both Hanukkah/Chanukah and Christmas. It's not all that uncommon, I think.

Personally, my family just celebrates Christmas. I like all lot of different things about it, like the games and the cooking. I made dressing the other day and that's some of my favourite mostly-seasonal food. And you can't forget baking! Christmas and the holidays means lots of food in my family. The kitchen really is the heart of the home. Unfortunately, we can't have much family over this year because of the cost of travel, but we'll all be enjoying ourselves nonetheless. =)

No no, I might like having a religion that calls for you to celebrate Hannakuh, but instead, you celebrate Christmas instead. Sorry, I no good at explaining -.-;; On another note, specificlly what you wrote (or more particular, typed) about... That's very sweet :33

I celebrate Christmas with my whole family.
Just Christmas, nothing special really.

Aah, I see, I think I understand what you mean now. Also, I got a chance to look over your holidays. I think a pen-pal of mine has mentioned something very similar, but I didn't recognize the name at first. They sound like a lot of fun!

Thomas: Your comment gave me a good laugh. What a holiday! xD

Since I'm from Sweden I celebrate Yule

It falls on the 24th of December, instead of the 25th like Christmas. Yule is an old tradition dating much longer than Christmas when the old pagans/shamans used to celebrate the Midwinter and Winter Solstice. It has nothing to do with Christianity... but, over the years the basic "look" of Yule has become that of a Christian Christmas with Santa Claus, Christmas trees and various decorations et.c

I celebrate Christmas on... well, Christmas. Nothing else to it, wake up, have breakfast, open presents and celebrate the good times with the family.

I celebrate December 25th. Just another day.

But damn it, I'm the only one who thinks this way, and I'm showered with presents. ;-;
