    I think I would have to say the GBA SP, since you could play all the old generation, also pre 3d GBA pokemon games, which I believe are better than the 3d ones...
     
    Well I think DS cuz they can play both DS and GBA versions but I don't care about red, blue, yellow, silver, gold and crystal and that old stuff
     
    ds is win in general for me. it technically can play all generations, frlg, hgss, rse and dpt. though i do love my sp and i prefer playing my gba games on it.
     
    DS by far escpecially with the touch screen and everyhting. When I first got one of the D/P/Pt series games I was amazed!
     
    DS. You can play all gens on it. It has the touch screen and other good features
