What do you think is the scariest moment in the Pokemon Anime is?

The scariest moment for me is when Todd left :< That made me die a little inside cause I thought we were never gonna see him again! :<

....And then he just all of a sudden CAME BACK onoes. ....like the dead. ZOMBIE TODD. EEEEEE. *run*

You're all being silly. To me, when Drowzee had control over Pikachu and Togepi, the Meowth-Arbok and had them attack J&J. I wonder how much power those pokemon have to get those two beat up so badly.....even Meowth...!
 
Scary for you, maybe. Some of us LIKE seeing men in girls clothes, thankyouverymuch.
 
If we're talking actually frightening, I got two (spliting the difference, one the movies, the other anime). And then silly frightening.

Actual frightening (Movies): I always enjoyed Mewtwo's rampage in the lab, seeing the destruction of the scientists that played God get some measure of pure retribution as the brutality unfolded, staggered me as prior to this, this was a juvenile series and that's it but seeing people actually dying, it proved that it was more to the story and gave it a legitimacy unprecedented.

It's a joy in either language, I think.

Actual frightening (anime): I'm mixed, but I'd say the St. Anne sinking, and that real life danger, and the fact their pets couldn't save them from this, it showed some nice real time dread, although the Sharpedo attack in "Sharpedo Attack" was nice to see to compensate. If ever so slightly.

Silly frightening (movies): Thinking...I'd say Jessie rubbing her butt on the Blobbo/Blocko (whatever the robots were). That was too odd...

Silly frightening (anime): I'd say a tie with James' inflatable breasts with Buson's weird face in the Raikou special with all the speed lines. God, that was weird.
 
Hm...I would say when Ash actually died in the first movie, and I agree, when the scientists were killed in the first film in the beginning.
I think the whole feel of the 7th movie was just creepy...with Deoxys taking people away. Of course it didn't hurt them or want to but that movie just had a freaky feel to it.

I honestly thought Ash's "death" was more of a surprise than shock myself. But I do agree about Deoxys taking people away as rather disturbing. It was obvious that Deoxys was going to be the Advanced version of Mewtwo but after the mega whiny angst of Mewtwo and that approach (including the issue of cloning) covered, I believe that they thought a different road to their next genetic meta-being should be explored instead and seeing Deoxys' bizzare design and origins (he has SpaceGodzilla's origin!), they saw an alien factor. So they made Deoxys as a parody to the 50's alien shlock (which I grew up on). Look as his defense form as it is a rip on the alien from "Earth vs the Flying Saucers."

I think the writer (Hideki Sonata wrote this, I believe) was just playing on the basic alien kidnap/body snatcher plot, while toying on Deoxys' creepiness. Either way, I'm glad they went this path instead of another Mewtwo, whew.

Another creepy thing, the ghost of the Maiden's Peak lusting after James and Brock. A ghost girl lusting after two living guys? Ewww. But then that's why I am digging Corpse Bride because the necrophilia is an unexplored angle, so I'm not in a position to grumble. Winks.
