Another thing to add is that not everyone has acess to the better ubers like Deoxys or Darkrai.
 
Ubers are also called Unobtainables, since you cannot find them in the game.

Those aren't ubbers.

The only ubbers in the game are Arcues, Deoxys, and Darkai and yes, they do fall under the category of "Unobtainable".

a ha ha. Dialga isn't uber? All three were uber.

Unobtainable does not mean uber. You're wrong.

And Yanmega... the most powerful one is Budew, not Bidoof XD

So how much you know. you just don't want to admit that your wrong. else, you can get an Auroraticket, a Member's Card, and an Azure Flute in normal game play.

There are three different categories of Legendaries (Before Elite Four, After Elite Four, and the Unobtainable) and four sub categories (Legendary Trio, Version Mascot, Cute, and Ubber). Legendary Trio and Version Mascot fall underneath the category of Before elite Four and Cute and Ubbers fall underneath the category of Unobtainable.

And if I am correct, isn't Dialga a version mascot?

So, yeah, the only Pokemon qualifying for Ubbers are Pokemon with crazy amount of base stats, and cannot be caught in game.
 
Me2U, you're mistaken. Dailgia IS an uber that is caught ingame. Giratina is an uber caught ingame. Wobbufet doesn't have "insane stats" but is definetly uber. Read Smarties kun's post. That isn't his opinion. It's fact.
 
Yeah.. legendaries and ubers = different class. I reckon ubers should be banned. legenadries are part of ther metagame. Personally, i don't like ubers and legendaries.

What the heck are you talking about? Ubers are not only unobtainable Pokémon, any Pokémon that has a clear advantage against most others counts as an uber. And yes, this includes Groudon, Kyogre, the Latis, Giratina, Dialga, Palkia and others. Shaymin and Celebi are both unobtainable in any of the games by normal means, (excluding the earliest Japanese release of D/P) but none of them are ubers.

Why is it that I even bother writing this? If you don't even read all posts or just ignore once that state you're wrong then why should I expect you to listen now? =\
 
No legendaries. If you catch a Legendary and compare it with a Pokemon that you raised from level 2 to the legendary's level, watch the results. The Pokemon you raised is better.
 
And Shaymin, & Celebii are not, despite being unobtainable.
 
Deoxys and Arceus are ubers, but I don't understand why they say Darkurai is. I think Dialga/Palkia have better base stats than him. Anyway, legendaries and ubers have higher stats, but they cannot breed so its harder to get one with high IV.
But I still don't think it's fair that only few people get these Pokémon. Why doesn't Nintendo let all pokemon gamers have them? I Still have no Celebe for my Silver version and no Mew/Selebii for my GBA games. I don't want them just because they are strong, I want them because they're Pokémon, too. I train ubers and normal pokemon alike. And I want Darkurai because it's my favorite pokemon, not because it's uber/legendary.

Just because bulbapedia says so, you have to obey it?
Legendary Categories has NOTHING to do with obtaining them.
Non-uber legendaries have the same base stats as the non pokemon.(Eg. Cresselia has the same amount of base stats as Garchomp)
Yes, Dialga and Palkia do have more base stats than Darkrai, but it is considered uber due to the sleep combinations it can do, which can easily pwn Dialga or Palkia.

They don't say Celebe is an uber, they say it's an Unobtainable and 'cute'.
