What reasons do they have not to? It's what they do and pokemon aint really slowing down yet. Howether aren't any new games of this generation a bit late in being anounced now? I'm sure Crystal was anounced within half a year of Gold EU release, and the same with the other games.

They should! I mean, not all that hard, if they can do four generations, not to mention spin-off's such as mystery dungeon, they can make about 100 new pokemon sprites, 1 new male, 1 new female and a new map! Not really that hard, shouldn't be for them anyway!

Lol.... anyway, get on with it nintendo! Lol, only joking... or am I?
 
Obviously, It is rumored that it will be released in late 2008-2009 and will be called Pokemon - Maroon
