What do you use mushrooms for?

    Mushrooms have various uses. You can eat them straight, cook them, use them for "magic" or many other reasons. What do you use them for? :3;

    I use mushrooms only as the toppings on sausages :(

    Magic as in alice in wonderland, btw. >_>;

    I use mushrooms for various stir-frys, soups, and Pizza.

    They're good for sautes too.

    I use button and Chinese mushrooms for soups and burgers(yes), and if I ever get the chance to grab a truffle again, I'm gonna sell it for a very high price.

    I use boletus and fly agaric to kill people.:pirate:

    I love mushrooms, so much that I can actually eat them straight. They're my all time favourite toppings and give me a sense of delight when put in any meal I have.
     
    I sometimes eat a red one with white spots and grow larger........

    I like them on burgers, in sauces for steaks, in salads, soups and even just plain.
    They're yummy.
     
    Mushrooms make me grow. 8D
    Then if I eat a orange flower, I can throw fire from my hands.
    And, when I eat a star, I turn into pure Rainbows!! :D

    I cook and eat them.

    I like to boil them and eat them. Tasty.
     
    Oh, I thought you were alluding to some medicinal properties or actual use in witchcraft when you first said magic. :|


    I avoid eating the things, most are harmless, some are truly edible, but problem is the one that grows here and is aptly named 'death cap' looks similar to a number of edible species. The only ones I'd eat are giant puffballs, about the only that don't look grotesque and are easily recognisable, but I have yet to; really metallic smell, I expect they taste like blood.

    Of course, I'm thinking in terms of the stuff you find in the wild, those little button mushrooms you get in supermarkets are something I've never really come across much since my family doesn't eat them.
    To put it simply, a lack of exposure to the use of flowering fungi as food has left me with little notion that any in fact are.
     
    'Shroomin! I love Mushrooms. I think they are adorable.
    I use them in many of the dishes I cook, and, since I'm Sicilian; I generally use them in my pasta sauces.
    I also like them stuffed. ^.^
     
    I don't eat mushrooms straightaway. I eat food which are prepared using mushrooms.
    So yeah, food is the only reason I use mushrooms. No magic here...
     
    I like them on burgers, but I also love stuffed mushrooms with crab. Delicious<3
