What does it mean if your pokemon gains a "boosted" number of exp points?

    Cause with my Pokemon it gets boosted exp every time I win a battle with it... and it's not holding exp share if that matters...
     
    if its not something new that i dont know about, pokemon recieved in trades grow faster. :)
     
    It's just to make you notice it gains more experience because it doesn't have the same ID as you.
