    1 ball every 5 seconds.
    15 balls every minute.
    90 balls every hour.
    2,160 balls every day.

    RAYQUAZA, DANGIT, GET CAUGHT ALREADY!

I know 4.3% catch chance is petrifyingly low, but seriously?

I'm already running out of Ultra Balls, as if it were a bag full of items... thrice!

I once caught a mewtwo on the first ball. of which was a primer ball..

Are you screaming at the screen? It doesn't work if you're not screaming at the screen. You need to scream at the screen.

Catching legendaries could be quite a hassle at times. When I tried capturing Groudon in Pokémon Ruby, it took me nearly three days. Back then, I wasn't much experienced when it came to this sort of thing, and didn't know that weakening its health and altering their status could help raise catch rate, so I began throwing Poké Balls toward it immediately after encountering. It was extremely frustrating, that's for sure. Aside from that, it was also pretty tough for me to capture Giratina in Platinum. I did bring down its HP and everything, but it would still refuse to be caught.

I wish that there were some specific type of Poké Ball, which would have better catch rate than Ultra when used on legendary Pokémon. Not sure if this will ever happen, though, haha.

The thing is, back then there were hardly any options. RBY and GSC had basically just regular, Great and Ultra Balls. RSE added a few new ones like the Net Ball and the Timer Ball, while DPPt expanded it even further with Quick Balls and Dusk Balls, and finally BW (or was it BW2, I can't remember) made it so Timer Balls max out at 10 turns and not 40.

I mean, try to catch Groudon, Kyogre or Rayquaza in Emerald or even RS and then do the same in HGSS and you'll see what I mean.

On my old Sapphire version, I somehow managed to catch Rayquaza on the first Ultra Ball I threw at it. Jolteon used Thunderbolt to bring it to half health and paralyzed, the ball flew, ding, I win.

I've never had another legendary encounter go that smoothly.

A lot of regular 'mons give me a heckuva lot more trouble than Legendaries.

The only Legendary to really give me a headache was Lugia.
