What if pokemon games were not turnbased?

That was an amazing animation, and I can see why people would want to play this, but I actually prefer it as turn based. The only action-pokemon crossover I would play would be if it used the ATB gauge like in final fantasy VI. (I know it's in other ffs, too. I just don't know which ones in specific xD )

I don't get the point to it.

that would totall yeliminate the point of the Speed and Evaisiveness stats

Great animation mate, very cool. Only part I didn't like was when you deliberately stopped the Rattata from killing you so you had time to click the Potion. :P They should have beaten you! :D

Might make a decent spin-off / alternative game, but I appreciate the current turn-based style of the Pokemon series.

How? Faster pokemon would take less time, and higher "Evaisiveness" would give you a better chance of dodging.

Thanks for commenting peoples ^^

I think the rattata used quick attack right before the potion, which takes more time to recover than tackle. I probably stretched it a bit, but still kinda makes sence.

wow

Wow, I never though of that. That would require speedy choices and Hard to master in my opinon.

It'll be cool if you have to tap "dodge" to dodge attacks and tap what attack you do, even order your pokemon do to all sorts of things in battle. Sadly, that would be an awful lot to cramp into a DS game card. :(
