What if They Were Real Part 2 (Rated PG 16 in case any adult themes come up)

Mary's face brightened as Israel stood dumbfounded by Earl's comment about the South. Mary stuck her hand out to the Cajun. "My name is Marilyn Rose, but you can call me Mary. I'm a reporter following one of the greatest rising trainers of this generation in the hopes of getting the first hand story on his adventures and rise to the championship. You have no idea how much of an honor it is to meet you! I'm like your biggest fan! You and Israel are the greatest trainers alive today! You both have everything needed to become A list stars! You two have strategy, strength, attitude, not to mention..." said the beautiful brunette with that adorable but unsettling enthusiasm that she showed to all of the people she admired. She stopped herself in mid sentence

"I'm from freaken South Carolina!" said Israel still flabbergasted. "The point is that you're both just awesome. You two are going to make me a very rich, and very happy woman. And this story about the both of you trying to save this ninja girl? Great stuff!" said Mary her eyes glistening with excitement.

"My father was born in the sticks! My aunts and Uncles live in ELLERY for crying out loud!" continued Israel before snapping out of the shock of hearing such a statement.

"Alright fine then no more, how many Louisianian's does it take to screw in a light bulb jokes. Just know that if we're going to do this we might run into situations where we might have to do things that seem wrong at the time. Just remember this golden rule. The lesser of two evils is the moral choice. Now, I think that I know of a way to cure Yasumi. Her illness has to do with her brain being injected with Psychic Pokemon brain cells. Her body is rejecting the foreign cells and was supposed to have killed her within two days of the injection. With some advice from John I was able to use Alakazam here to prolong her life. Now what I believe is this. If I can use a normal Psychic Pokemon to prolong her life, maybe I can use a legendary one to save it! However, as we know, tackling a legendary Pokemon is a tough business, especially Psychic types. I believe that two heads are better than one in this situation. I have a chance of beating a legendary alone, but my chance is doubled when I have William Earl Stevens Jr. on my side," said Israel getting down to business.

"Don't forget me," said Mary pulling out a Pokeball and holding it up, "I may not look it but I'm quite the trainer on my free time, and as for your legendary Psychic Pokemon? I think I can help there too. Celebi, the time travel mirage Pokemon was one of the first Pokemon to be seen in our world. it's even appeared before the 1960's due to it's time traveling abilities. One of its most prominent spots is here in North Carolina, and every time it's appeared it's come to help someone in need."

"Wait! So if we find it, it'll just help us without a fight? Sweet! Then let's get going!" said Israel filled with happiness. He started singing a happy tune, "Oh what a beautiful morning! Oh what a beautiful day! I have beautiful feeling! Everything's going my way!"

Mary looked at Earl, smiled flirtatiously and followed Israel not even knowing where he was going.

Earl just sighed and shook his head at the two. A kid who was more than likely near answer and an attractive woman who was WAAAAAAY too enthusiastic about Israel and Earl. Silently, Earl followed the two, Izanami whispering in his ear.

"I know. I know. He won't approve of it, but I gotta save Yasumi. I think he would understand," whispered Earl, keeping his voice quiet so Mary and Israel couldn't hear him. He then looked forward and couldn't help but admire Mary from behind... DAMN!

"Maybe this trip will be interesting after all, wouldn't you agree miss Mary?" asked Earl, making sure every ounce of his southern charm oozed out of him. This would make things VERY interesting... Earl then looked up, thinking to himself.

"So, Celebi first, Gym battle, and cure Yasumi, right? By the way... Where is Yasumi?"

The thought had just dawned on Earl as his eyes widened considerably. He thought she would be close, but she was nowhere around. Was she in a hospital somewhere? At Israel's home? He had no idea. It would be nice to know... Just in case Earl could save her before Israel. After all, unlike Israel, Earl DID have connections...
 

Silver Asakura


Flare attempted to counter back with Poison Jab, but Aura was just much quicker. He slammed Force Palm into his stomach, enough to make him faint. Jake returned Flare back to his Pokeball. Aura was pleased. He returned to Sweety to see how he avenged her. "Well. I beat him for you." Aura smiled.

Seemed Jake regretted choosing Flare. "Well... Looks like that's that. Good battle Silver. Return Flare... I need to work with him some more." Yeah, Jake seems not to be a good battler. "Well... If you're ready, then we should be going." Hopefully they didn't waste too much time battling. Silver walked back to the car & sat back down.

"Good battle Jake. Although Flare could use a little more work." He said. Sure, Flare was, um...let's just say he has a bad temper. They should be going soon now. Off to Lake Lure!
 
Jake

Jake hopped into the grivers seat and looked at the map Pearl had... Obtained. Hm... That was good, they weren't too far from Lake Lure. He turned the ignition on and began to drive. "Thanks Silver. And you mean I could use a little more work. I mean, let's face it, I'm a terrible battler. Little brother Johnny got all the skill, heh."

Sweety grinned at Aura and hugged him tightly. "Pachi pachi! Thanks! That was cool!" she said as she clung to his neck. Jake grinned and turned back onto the interstate and hi the gas. "Now, let's go and find us your friend and the gym!"

John

John smiled. Cinder had her Venusaur completely outclassed. He opened his mouth to order the final attack, then yelped when Cinder slammed him to the ground, a Shadow Ball flying over him and the dragon. Verdia wasn't so lucky, and she got taken out.

"Cinder, off!" John said, and the Charizard bellowed at someone. John hopped to his feet and looked around warily.

"So... You're here are you?" Tydus's voice boomed at him, and he scowled.

"Why don't you show your ugly face so I can re-arrange it!" John said loudly, and Tydus walked out of the trees. John scowled and glared at him, seeing that he was flanked by his Mewtwo.

"Is hat supposed to be an insult?" Tydus said sarcastically, and John laughed. He sneered at the man and leaned against Cinder.

"No, but I could make a crack about how your worthless genes were passed onto that useless punk you call a son. Useless and stupid, because he still doesn't think you're his father. Better?" John said, and Tydus paled.

"I should never have let you been made... Oh well, i can fix that now." he said, and John looked confused.

"What? What the hell are you talking about? If you're looking for a fight, then you'll find I'm a lot tougher than you remember! GBring it you stupid old man, and see if you can take me!" he said. Tydus literally burst out laughing, and shook his head.

"Oh... That's rich... The misbreed thinks he has a chance against me. How cute. But tell me... Have you ever heard of Celebi?" he said, gesturing with his hand. John leapt at him, and Cinder tried to take off, but they were both cought in Mewtwo's grasp. John's grey eyes were shining with malice, and Tydus walked toward the boy that was frozen in midair.

"Well, Celebi is a pokemon that is able to travel through time. And, using it's power, I can... Rectify quite a few mistakes. Like you." Tydus said, pulling out a little green flute and playing it. The shambling ruin behind John turned into a beautiful shrine, and a small green pokemon yawned as it woke up. Tydus wasted no words as he hurled a Master Ball at it, catching it without fail.

"Good bye Misbreed." Tydus said as he set the Master Ball into a small machine and pointed it at a random spot.

"Metal, whatever he's doing, use your powers to try and keep it from working!" John said to the Metagross on his belt. "He is using Celebi's power to open a rift in time. I believe that he intends to alter history. With the current data it appears this temporal rift will lead back ten years, three months, one day, and four hours, though a more detailed analysis is impossible with current data." was the immediate answer. John smirked. Change the past huh? That would be a good thing. And he could ask his mother in person why her name had appeared on the reports. He could ask about Six and Seven. And he could wipe Tydus off the face of the earth and save himself a lot of grief.

"Are you blocking this from Mewtwo the way I am?" he said slowly. Metal sent an agreement. Good. "Tell Shadow to use Night Daze on Mewtwo then bolt for the rift. No matter what, we have to stop Tydus from killing me in the past or I won't have a future. If only she gets through, then she'll have to do it on her own, and if not... Tell her to find Earl and live a good life with him. As for you, use your powers to hold open the portal long enough for me to get through it. Got that?" he said. Metal sent an agreement, and they set their plan in motion. Mewtwo floated over to join Tydus, and the portal opened. John heard a faint giggling in the distance and smiled.

"Aren't you forgetting about something you stupid ass fool?" he said with a smirk. Tydus turned to face hm.

"And what would that be?" he asked. Shadow let out a fierce bark and went flying at Mewtwo, who formed an Aura Sphere a second too late. She slammed her paws into his chest and sent him staggering into the portal. John was released and dashed at Tydus, knocking them both through with his momentum. Shadow ipped and dove through as the portal closed behind them.

"Yes, VERY interesting," responded Mary keeping her own flirtatious charm up. She then turned to Israel. "Wouldn't YOU agree Israel?" she said in the same tone trying to gauge his interest for her. "Uh huh, interesting and all that happy hunky dory crap," was Israel's non attentive answer. He had no idea that Mary even thought about him in a romantic sense.

"So, Celebi first, Gym battle, and cure Yasumi, right? By the way... Where is Yasumi?" Earl said finally capturing Israel's attention. "The last time I saw her was after I got arrested for being a former member of the Human Alliance, despite being forced to join. Basically the FBI used me as a bargaining chip to get Yasumi to join them. Y'know with her being the most badarse member of the Human Alliance before I got her to turn against them. I haven't seen her in a while, but finding her should be no issue when you have a time traveling Pokemon that can pop up in any time and place it wants," he responded.

A look of discontent was on Mary's face. All Israel can think about is that dying Japanese girl. He's a no go; Earl on the other hand is different. There's potential there, thought Mary.

So Mary walked a little behind and stood beside Earl. "If I'm not mistaken, that's a shiny Seviper! It's really pretty. Where do you find such a rare Pokemon?" she asked feigning interest convincingly.

I think he's compensating for something, thought Israel not saying it out loud. As much as it pained him keeping silent, he didn't want to lose his new ally.

Earl couldn't help but smile as Izanami suddenly hissed at Mary, who was now walking right by Earl. She didn't like the reporter, but that was because she was close to Earl. She was worried Mary would try to seperate that.

"Izanami, don't worry. Israel, you have a point, but still... No offense, but where I'm from, we don't really care for police or the FBI for several reasons," said Earl, his worry very evident. He didn't really trust the government, as it was well documented that corruption was spread throughout American politics. Still though, he had a feeling Yasumi could still take care of herself, despite her life-threatening injury...

... Yeah, she would probably kick their asses if they tried anything. Smiling at that thought, Earl turned back to Mary with that same damn grin from before. Time to see how much this Mary was interested in him.

"Oh yeah. Caught little miss Izanami here while in Texas, same area I caught Hera and Mary, you know, my Ferrothorn and Gabite? Anyways, Izanami does look pretty-" Earl paused as he scratched Izanami's chin, making her sigh in content again. "But I have to say ma'am, you look like quite the catch yourself."

Now, some of you are probably looking at Earl funny, but you have to understand this: Earl loves Yasumi. He sees himself growing old with her. Mary and other women like her? He sees a night (or week) of lots of fun, and that's where it stops. Besides, it wouldn't be the first time. Now, his hook is baited, and he must wait for a bite...

He was pretty sure he would get one.

Still, with Yasumi on their side I'm sure they can do alot of good as far as bringing down that douche bag the gentleman, that ambiguously gay drag queen Mordecai, and the masochistic dark lord of the sith known only as MiB. To tell you the truth I have a promise to keep to the last one. I told him that i'd kill him for losing and letting Mordecai get his way. I just wish that I had the resources to find him," said Israel.

Even Israel knew what was going on and he didn't approve. If there was one thing that Israel didn't like it was ***** mongers. He was a born again Christian and fully believed that if you're planning to romance a girl, you sure as hell better be planning marry her. Further more he believed that pre marital intercourse was a sin. Yasumi wouldn't have approved of this either and that brought a smile to Israel's face. Still, even if Mary was stupid enough to fall into this hick's trap, Israel was honor bound to kick this guy's rear afterword. Israel listened in discretely to see if Mary would take the bait.

"Yes, I AM a catch," responded Mary, "people just like to look at me. I can't help that i'm beautiful. And I'm single to boot. What about you Mr. Stevens? Do you have any girl in your life?" Israel mentally face palmed.
 

Silver Asakura


"Thanks Silver. And you mean I could use a little more work. I mean, let's face it, I'm a terrible battler. Little brother Johnny got all the skill, heh." That's right. John was Jake's brother. Now why would he say that though? Silver could see potential in him.

"But you gave me a tough battle back at the base. I say you have potential. Besides, you're a good planner." He reassured Jake. No need to be down all the time. Jake started the engine & drove everyone to Lake Lure. Man his gym battle was gonna be a blast!

"Pachi pachi! Thanks! That was cool!" Sweety said, clunging to Aura's neck. It made him chuckle a little & blush. She was very nice & affectionate.

"Heehee..." He felt nervous now.

"Now, let's go and find us your friend and the gym!" Jake implied. They were now nearing Lake Lure. Oboy! Silver was eager to check the place ou- Why did he have a bad feeling all of a sudden? Whatever, it's not gonna stop him. He immediately got out of the car when it stopped, & spotted his friend.

Sapphire Hikaru.

"Sapphire!~" Silver ran over to Sapphire & glomped her. "It's so good to see you!"
 
Sapphire Hikaru

Sapphire was waiting for her Silver to arrive, when suddenly Yuki came back all huffing and out of breath. 'Yuki? what happened?' Sapphire asks her concerned as the little boy Yuki had changed in turns back in the little zorua. '*huf huf* i've just been running around, human body's are hard to run with, ya know...' Yuki smiled. sapphire smiled back at her and gave her a Pokemon Candy, not only her but Hikair and Kaede as well. suddenly Sapphire hears a car stopping near her, a boy stepped out.

"Sapphire!~" Silver ran over to Sapphire & glomped her. "It's so good to see you!"

Sapphire almost falls when Silver, who is taller than her, glomps her. 'SIlver!' Sapphire's eyes begin to sparkle as she hugs him. 'it's good to see you too! it has been so long!' Sapphire says while still holding him. '(yup...friendship)' Kaede said looking around for Silver's pokemon, Hikari followed him.
 
Jake

Jake smiled and got out of the car as well. He walked around and smiled at Sapphire and Silver as they met each other again. When a break appeared in the conversation, he walked forward and grinned.

"Hi there. My name is Jacob Brooks. It's nice to meet you. Silver won't stop talking about you. Heh..." he said slowly, extending his hand to the girl, Pearl lounging lazily at his side.

Riley

Riley stepped off of the plane and looked around. He was in North Carolina now, and he needed to get to Lake Lure. He walked around the airport and smiled to himself when a black car pulled up next to the door. He walked over and climbed in the back.

"So... Have you been keeping tabs on them all?" he asked after a moment. The person in the back seat with him nodded and handed him a report, which he read over thoroughly.

"Interesting..." he said after a moment.

"Do you think that it's possible?" the other one said, and Riley nodded.

"Celebi is very powerful. I have no doubt that it will work." he said with a slight smile. The car was moving down the highway at a rapid speed now, and Riley was ready to act. He had to get the right people there, or things would end up horribly.

"Take us to where the others are. We have to keep things happening the way we want them. With this kind of power in the wrong hands, things that we don't want to change will. That means we can't let the champion's son get into the time stream." Riley continued, and the person next to him nodded.

"What do you prepose we do then Frost Leader?" she said, and Riley smiled brightly at the acknowledgement of the old name of his gyme.

"Hm... Steer them away from Verdia. They're both great battlers, but incredibly naive. Shouldn't be too hard." he said. His companion nodded and they car kept on moving.

In the past

John and Tydus growled, and John kicked him in the side as they tumbled through the portal.

"Let me go you freak!" Tydus said, sinking his fist into John's stomach. John groaned and doubled over, coughing heavily.

"Shadow, Night Daze!" the teenager shouted, and Tydus's eyes widened.

"You fool! Do you have any idea what could happen if your little rat-" he said, cut off by Shadow's bark and the explosion. Everything went dark, and John groaned weakly, grabbing Cinder, but Shadow slipped through his grasp, and he fell through the time stream, seperated from the man the was his mortal enemy. When everything stopped spinning, John slowly opened his eyes and looked up at a cloudy and dark sky. He sat up and shook his head, and Cinder growled at something.

"Shadow!?" he said loudly. He roaned and clutched at his head.

"Are you ok?" a sweet voice said, and he looked around. An attractive young woman was gazing at him with concern in her eyes, and a young, green haired girl was clinging to her hand. John slowly got to his feet and looked around. He was still where he had been, but things were different. The wreck that had turned into a shrine was once again a wreck.

"When am I?" he said after a moment.

"When? I'm afraid I don't understand you dear. Did you hit your head on a rock? That was some tumble you took." the woman said, and John glared at her. The five year old that was holding her hand eeped and hid behind her.

"Don't play dumb with me. I know this is the Shrine of Celebi. That pokemon just brought me here against it's will! Now, what time am I in?" he said slowly, and the woman sighed and told him. He was ten years in the past. Great.

"Ok... Ten years... And if I'm still here, then Tydus hasn't killed me yet." he said slowly.

"Tydus? He just left after beating Mama!" the girl finally said, and John sighed and closed his eyes.

"Wrong Tydus. The one i mean is from my time, not yours." he said, walking away.

"Hey, where are you going?" the woman cried out.

"I'm going to finish this. Once and for all." he said as he walked along down the road, Cinder taking to the air behind him. He had to find Tydus... And if he remembered right, then his family was down here right now on vacation. He knew where Tydus was going to be, and he had to stop him, and finish this.
 

Silver Asakura


"Silver!" Sapphire was excited to see Silver again after so long as she hugged him back. "It's good to see you too! It has been so long!" She continued as they were still hugging each other. Silver was so glad to see his old friend again. Things couldn't be better. When he noticed Jake coming by, he quickly broke the hug so Jake wouldn't get any ideas. He introduced himself to Sapphire, holding out his hand for a handshake.

Aura noticed the car stopped & gestured Sweety to follow him off. He jumped to the ground & followed Silver, taking notice of the girl with him. He's never seen her before. Was she a friend? If Silver hugged her that long, why bother asking? For now he just stood next to Silver, looking around.

"So, what places are there here to see?" Silver asked Jake, feeling excited to find the gym soon. One way or another, he knows he'll get his 2nd gym badge.
 
Sapphire Hikaru

When another person came closer Silver quickly broke their hug, it might be so that the person wouldn't think things.

"Hi there. My name is Jacob Brooks. It's nice to meet you, Silver won't stop talking about you, heh..." Jacob introduced himself to Sapphire.

'R-really?' Sapphire turned to silver a little with a soft blush, but turned back to jacob after a few seconds as she thought that it couldn't be true.

'I am Sapphire Hikaru, it's nice to meet you too.' Sapphire smiled and shaked the hand he holded out to her.

'So, what places are there here to see?' Silver asked jake as sapphire had introduced herself. Sapphire remembered how her brother told her yesterday about the gym here, she actually wanted to find it and fight the gymleader to get a badge. But she's not gonna do that today since she wants to spend time with her bestie who she hasn't seen in a long time.

Jake

The nineteen year old shrugged at Silver, taking the map from Pearl. He looked it over then passed it to the other two, not finding anything that interested him.

"I don't know. I just got here for the first time myself. You guys take a look, and I'll go and park the car." he said with a smile as Sweety and Aura climbed out of the back seat, Foxy still asleep in the front seat. He sat down and turned the car on, pulling it around and driving into a parking place. He sighed and grabbed Foxy, waking the Psychic type vulpix up and hugged him close.

"Pix?" the pokemon said quietly, his ears twitching a bit.

"Nothing. Nothing, just keep a psychic eye on Silver and Sapphire, would you?" he said quietly as he got out of the car. He felt a foreign presence touch his mind, expressing worry and fear. Jake laughed and shook his head, holding the vulpix closely to him.

"We aren't leaving them Foxy. But I'm going to go and look for my brother. I have a feeling he's here, and those feelings are not wrong that often. Odds are he'll be at the gym if he is here, or fighting with McFarline Jr. Hm... Actually..." he said, getting out of the car and walking over to Silver and Sapphire. saying "Hey guys... How about we go and get you your gym badges now, and then explore the town later. Business before fun, right?"

Riley

Riley stood up and got out of the car. He had the report in his hands, and Glace was trailing along behind him. The woman got out of the car as well, her face completely covered.

"I'm going to go find my sister and that Brooks boy." she said. Riley nodded and closed the door behind her.

"I can handle Jon Mcfarline and William Stevens on my own, thank you. Good luck. I hope that we aren't too late. We have to keep things moving the right way." he said as he walked around the town. As a gym leader, most people wouldn't even look at him squarely. It was easy to get where he was going. With a few discreet questions, he found out that the two he was looking for had gone out to bother some Tauros. He shook his head and walked out toward the field where they were supposed to be, and saw them walking purposefully toward the gym.

"Glace, go run ahead and cause a distraction. I can't catch up in time if you don't." he said. Glace nodded and took off, planting herself in front of the trio and growling slightly as Riley chased after them.

Seven

Seven looked around, feeling faint. She hugged Eight close to her chest as she slowly began to fade away.

"What the heck?" she said quietly, as she and her eevee faded from existance, leaving nothing behind but the sand castle they had been building, which got washed away by the surf.

In the past

John walked down to the city, glaring around boredly, his Charizard at his side. He sighed and sat down. Something was going on, he could feel it. Cinder roared his defiance, and John leapt otnto his back.

"Into the air!" he said suddenly. Cinder flew high into the sky, and he drifted lazily and looked down. He remembered when he was younger looking up at the sky and seeing a large pokemon. A large, red one, soaring across the sky. He looked down, trying to see a speck of red on the ground, whispering to Cinder to do the same. They eventually passed over a small house, and John spotted a little boy, looking up at him, and his heart jolted.

"Land in front of the house." he said, and Cinder did so. He walked up to the house and banged on the door. After a moment, a young man answered it. The man was a mirror image of Jake, right down to the annoyed smirk on his face. The man was John's father, and he did not look happy.

"Who the hell are you?" he said after a moment, and John scowled.

"None of your business. Let me speak with Mary-Anne Brooks. It's about something at her job." he said after a moment. His father glared angrily at him, and a woman came to the door. She was shorter than he was, and had a radiant glow that seemed to warm him, even though she had no idea who he was. She had dark red hair, and light grey eyes that were shared by Seven, and he himself.

"Taylor, please... Hold on a moment... Who are you?" she asked slowly. John opened and closed his mouth several times before speaking, leaning against his charizard.

"Someone that has read a few reports. About the Genesis Project." he said. Her eyes went wide, but she said nothing for a few moments.

"Taylor, sweety, could you go make sure John and Jake are ok?" she said sweetly. Taylor understood and withdrew back into the house. Within an instant, a gun was pointed at John. It was a tiny one, to be sure, but would do the job just as easily as a large one.

"Who the hell are you and what do you know about the Genesis project?" the woman said, losing all of her charm immediately. John snickered at her, and she pointed the gun at his face. "Don't **** with me, child, tell me what I want to know. The HA gives VERY good weapons training to their employs, especially those that work on top secret projects."

"Relax. My name is Johnathon Brooks." he said with a smirk. His news clicked almost instantly, and she took a few steps back.

"Wh-what the... No, you're lying!" she said, and John laughed.

"Want a DNA test to prove it Mother? Here's the deal. I came from the future, ten years in fact. Everything has gone to hell. You know Six and Seven? Yeah, Six is dead, and Seven is with me." he said.

"Seven?" Mary asked, confused, and John sighed, shaking his head. That was right... Seven wouldn't exist right now, would she? Joh s hook his head.

"Never mind. The point is, I want to know just what the hell this project has to do with me. Seven sometimes slips and calls me Five for some reason, and I just fought Tydus, and he told me he had to rectify a mistake that he made with me. So what the hell is going on, Mother?" he said forcefully. She closed her eyes and sighed.

"... Very well... You'll find out soon enough... You are Five... The fifth clone of Tydus, and the only one that has grown past infancy. Six, and this Seven you mentioned, though she hasn't been created yet, are also clones. But you are the first working one. I am your mother, as I gave my DNA to make you complete. Was basically his father. If you considered it from a certain veiw. He was not born, rather grown, and to top it off, he had been bred to replace Tydus!?

"Why can't he have raised that little privck son of his own to be his heir!? Why do that to me?" he said angrily, glaring at her.

"What are you talking about, son? Tydus is a good man, and he wants to change the world!" Mary said sharply. John glared angrily at her and showed a scar on his arm.

"Oh yeah? Then why do I have injuries like this one? Why do I spend my life in fear for my only friends because of him? WHY THE HELL DID HE KILL MY REAL FATHER IF HE'S SUCH A SWELL GUY?" he shouted angrily, leaning against Cinder and glaring at her.

"... I'm so sorry..." she said slowly, looking pale. John wasn't done though. He snatched the gun out of her hand and pocketed it.

"You know WHY he killed Taylor? He killed him because he let me escape from your friend Tydus. Tydus was going to murder me, and Taylor got off his drunken, abusive ass, and did something decent with his life. And do you know what else? I'm GLAD that I'm not a member of your pathetic group. Because if I was, then I'd have been forced to hurt the only people that have ever cared about me, Mother. Cinder and the rest of my pokemon. So, you can take your Genesis Project and send it straight to hell!" he said, slowly ending his rant. Mary-Ann paled and looked at the ground.

"I'm so sorry..." she said slowly, and Joh n could see a change come over her. She closed her eyes, fighting back tears, and John got onto his Charizard's back.

"I'm leaving. I have to find Tydus before he messes with my life even more." he said. Mary-Ann nodded, and Cinder took off into the air. He wasn't sure what to do next, but he had to find Tydus, and quickly!

Silver Asakura


Jake got a map from Pearl & looked it over. Probably looking what places there are here. He handed the map to Silver & Sapphire. "I don't know. I just got here for the first time myself. You guys take a look, and I'll go and park the car." Sounds good to him. With the map, Silver looked over the map, seeing if there's anything interesting in Lake Lure. A gym of course-what's this? Silver didn't see this before. A shrine? The gym is also a shrine? That sounded interesting. There's always a reason for a shrine, most likely to a Celebi.

Silver almost forgot about Sapphire. Maybe one day of fun with Sapphire wouldn't hurt. The gym can definitely be their first stop. For today he wanted to spend the whole day & catch up with his bestie of course.

Soon, Jake came back after parking his car. "Hey guys... How about we go and get you your gym badges now, and then explore the town later. Business before fun, right?" Since when is there business for trainers?

"Sure. The gym can be our first stop. I do like to see what's inside." He meant the shrine in the gym of course. It sounded interesting. Silver couldn't wait to check it out with Jake, & definitely Sapphire. She'll get to see him in battle!

Israel reached for his Alakazam's Pokeball. He was going to send a secret telepathic message to Mary warning of Earl's intentions. The poor girl didn't need to be led on by some horny half French douche. Then, a Glaceon jumped in front of the group and growled. An evil smile came over Israel's face.

"Alakazam use FOCUS BLAST!" he yelled releasing the Psychic type from its Pokeball. It fired a powerful light brown orb of energy at the ice type. "Don't you think about intercepting this capture Earl! The Glaceon's mine," he warned.

"Wait STOP!" said Mary. "What now?!" asked Israel. "It's a trainer Pokemon," said Mary. Israel looked at his Pokedex and sure enough the Glaceon had a Pokeball icon by its name, the sign of its trainer. "Well, at least it'll make good training! Alakazam attack before it has a chance to attack you!" he said confidently. Alakazam prepared to use a Psychic attack.

Spotting the Glaceon so suddenly and seeing Israel release his Pokemon, Earl began looking around. If the Glaceon was owned, then the trainer was nearby. They had to be! In that case, why were they here, trying to attack Earl, Mary, and Israel? No matter... Earl would find the trainer soon enough.

"Izanami, begin sniffing out for another human. Mary, come on out!"

Earl threw a Pokeball, releasing his Gabite. Mary the Gabite ((Darn you Aspie for naming the reporter Mary too! jk)) looked around, not use to the location. Soon enough, she turned to Earl and smiled a toothy grin.

"Mary, help Izanami. Israel... Keep the furball occupied. I'll find the one behind this."

Quickly, Earl followed Izanami and Mary, soon turning to Mary the reporter.

"Mary- not YOU Mary," said Earl, frustrated. His Gabite had turned back to him. "You go follow Izanami. Anyways, Reporter, do you have any Pokemon with good noses on them?"

((I vote on a co-ownership with Mary the Reporter Aspie. Agreed? In return, I'll let you control four other elite trainers that will be revealed after this arc is over.))

Mary was taken aback by Earl's frustration. "My name is MARY not reporter!" she said angrily. Her voice was cute even when she was angry. Then her face brightened, "and yes I do have a Pokemon with a good nose. Cerberus I choose you!" She threw a Pokeball into the air and sent out an unusually huge Arcanine. The Arcanine sniffed the air and jumped at Riley who was approaching trying to tackle him to the ground.
 
Sapphire Hikaru

'I don't know, got her for first myself, you guys take a look, and i'll park the car.' Jacob walked away from them, leaving them behind with the map which Silver looked in. Sapphire was intressed in the shrine by the gym.

Soon Jacob returned. "Hey guys...how about we go and get you your gym badges now, and explore the town later? Bussiness before fun right?" He suggested.

Since when is getting badges bussiness?

"Sure, the gym can be our first stop. I do like to see what's inside." Silver replied him. Sapphire wants to see the Shrine inside the gym. Now she thought about it, Silver hasn't seen her while fighting since a loooooong time, and she hasn't seen Silver battle in a long time too.

'So we get to see each other in battle mode.' Sapphire said to Silver. 'I can't wait~'
 
Jake

"Awesome. And if I know little brother, he'll be there as well. I want to talk to him too." Jake said with a grin. Pearl meowed boredly and looked around before wandering off. Foxy yawned from his perch in Jake's arms and set his head down with a huff.

"Pachi!" Sweety said happily from where she was sitting on Aura's head, and Jake smiled at the pair of them.

"Right... It's not to far, we can walk there before I could pull the car around, so shall we go?" Jake said with a grin.

Riley and Glace

Glace yowled and leapt bac, her tail flicking angrily. What the heck was she under attack for?! But, having been trained well, she didn't strike back, only glared at Israel and the others, hissing slightly. She watched as the other humans sent out their pokemon to find Riley.

"Whoa, what the heck! Get offa me!" Riley cried out when he was tackled by the arcanine.

"God, you guys are ****ing touchy! I'm not going to attack you! Sheesh, grow up a little!" the ex-gym leader said angrily, not making any move that could be seen as aggressive. He held his hands up and shook his light blue head.

"Glace!" Glace chimed in her agreement.

In the past

It took several hours for Tydus to show up again, and John was waiting. He was sitting in a park, reading a ten year old newspaper, and snorting with laughter at the things that were cutting edge back then. He tossed the paper aside and stood up.

"Well, looks like you've been busy misborn." came Tydus's voice. John shrugged and looked across the park, where Tydus was standing. He put his hand on Tempest's pokeball, and looked warily at Tydus.

"Hello, father, it's nice to be acknowledged for a change. Heh, I thought I'd be pretty upset right now... But I'm not." John said, a small smile creeping across his face. "And you know why that is? Because i have the truth. I know just what a piece of crap you are. I know what you did to my mother, and my little brother and sister, assuming that you can call a clone a brother or a sister. Hell, I even know what you did to me. And you know what? Thank you. There, i sauid it. It's not much, but I wouldn't be alive right now without your research and stuff. I bet you're kicking yourself pretty hard now, huh? Feel pretty stupid don't you?"

John knew he had hit home with that remark from the deadly look that crossed Tydus's face. He glared at John and reached down, grabbing a pokeball off of his belt.

"That mistake... Can be fixed. And I'm about to do that now." Tydus said, sending out his Blazekin. John grinned and sent out Tempest.

"Bring it. I'm more than a match for you, father! Tempest! Hurricane!" John said, starting the battle.
 
Israel sighed when he saw Riley. "Alright Mary, let him go. Riley, if you don't want to get your arse kicked all the way to the North Pole you shouldn't have your Glaceon run up to people an growl at them!" said Israel. "It's alright. You can let him go Cerberus," said Mary smiling. The Arcanine returned to Mary and licked her in the face.

"Alright Riley; you must have a reason for tracking me down all this way. Must be pretty freaken important to leave your gym behind. So what is it you need me for?" asked Israel. Mary pulled out her camera. Israel motioned for her to put it away; "I have a feeling that this is a private matter."
