A sudden thought came into my head.
Originally, I was supposed to ask this in the QnA, but as I wrote it, it felt more like this is worth a thread to talk or speculate about.

Anyway, let's say Pokémon Bank is finally and officially have been released.
And with that release comes new updates to battling, trading, Wonder Trade, GTS and any other sort of battling and trading.
And with that update comes a new patch for X and Y, which is a very powerful detecting program/tool/whateveryawannacallit that CAN detect hacked and cloned PKMN, rendering them to be traded over or to be used in any sort of battles.

What do you think?
Will this cause massive relief among the Pokéfans, or cause massive rages? >.>

Both. And then those who were initially relieved will then rage at the incensed hackers for having the audacity to complain about not being able to cheat. There has been enough conflict between fans simply through speculation that this might be possible... I can't imagine the consequences if Nintendo actually pulled it off. Maybe this is how World War III starts?

I would be immensely happy though, because I play the game as it was intended to be played, and due to my lack of patience, do not have perfect IVs etc. Kudos to those of you who put the effort in to breed perfect Pokemon, but until I have more time on my hands, I will settle for 3IV pokes :P

I'd be... more okay with it if it distinguished between Pokemon that simply happened to be hacked (like if the player really didn't feel like poking through grass for hours to get an Audino) and ones that couldn't possibly exist (like a Sableye with Wonder Guard).

I don't even mind when people use hacked Pokemon, though, honestly. If they're battling me and I know that their team is fake, I'll be able to save some dignity when I lose instead of having to face the fact that I'm not good at the game.
