What is it like inside a Pokeball?

Hey, RedStar and Neiteio, for the time being until we get better information, why don't we assume you are both right?

I will not have you two starting a flame war on my thread, especially not about something as silly as what the inside of a pokeball is like. So cool it!!!

Well, when a Pokemon is withdrawn, it turns into the red beam. I think it's that, just a ball of energy.

Flaming is insults. No insults have been used, therefore no flame war. This is what a debate looks like.

Well, when a Pokemon is withdrawn, it turns into the red beam. I think it's that, just a ball of energy.

Energy theory has a few major holes in it, which is why the digitization theory became more popular.

The two biggest holes are as follows:

-Energy takes up much more space than solid matter, which would mean that turning the Pokemon into energy would be counterproductive. This applies to both EM waves and plasma, both of which are colloquially referred to as "energy".

-Compression = heat. If the Pokemon were turned into energy, they would have to be supercompressed, which would result in a heat output ranging from 10000C to millions of degrees C. Solid non-porous matter, like PokeBall shells, conduct heat very well.

Numbers obtained with a modified combined gas law formula (PV=NrT).

i assume that it is like four dimention space in the balls and the pokemon just float inside unconsciously, therefore get original status in the space but pokemon itself can't recover HP.

Robot Chicken

Maybe the balls behave like cryogenic sleep chambers.
Like with Austin Powers or Han Solo.

I just wonder if the "insides" vary by ball type.

my friends and i have come up with this
pokeball= couch and fridge. average pokemon stay in theese.
greatball=same as above exept with a analog tv. the poke's are a little stronger and earned a bit better living.
ultraball= same as above exept has a dvd player. they are pretty tough and need something extra.
most other pokeballs= such a variety of pokemon and pokeballs but most would have a similar interior as an ultraball
lure/dive ball= has a pool.
repeat ball= door to family (other repeat balls)
luxury ball= 50'' plasma screen, minibar, jacuzzi, hot (insert pokemon species here), and a limo.
Master ball= a desert type area. if you are putting superstrong legends in there, they don't need comfort. this way they can train, meditate, and focus.

On one episode it showed the inside of a pokeball and it looked like there were a bunch of mirros inside. I am not to shure how that would effect the pokemon into fitting inside but I think that might lead to an answere

i think they are cramped in,and i rather not know if there is anything diffren!

There's probably a couch and an average size TV with better than average reception. And most likely a fridge with some burritos/pizza in it with some soda-pop. I'd like to think root beer, but you never know, it could be like cola or perhaps ginger-ale. Everybody likes ginger-ale...

rabbidditto, did you see my ideas?

I'm pretty sure that being in a Pokeball is like being on the Game Grid in Tron, and that the PC takes the worlds in the Pokeballs and connects them.

It is possible that the creators of the series were relying on a suspension of disbelief when they were thinking of the Pokeball. Could be that they haven't made an explanation. Kind of like in Looney Toons, when a character would just pull a hammer out of nowhere. We know that it just simply is not logical, the creators know that it is not logical, although we kind of just shrug it off.
