What is marking for?

I'm not sure to tell you the truth. probably some random thing they added in last minute...
 
Well I used it for organisation although I only started using them...
I have marked Pokemon to be EV trained. :)
 
Could've been, although I remember marking from earlier games too. Correct me if I am wrong.
 
Indeed lol.
I mean it is useful, but isn't necessary at all. I only started using it, and could live without it.

Yeah, internet lagged a bit so it double posted then merged them automatically...

Anyways, can you search for specific markers in a single box only, or does it take all the marked Pokemon and put them together?
