Question: What is Really the Deal With (Airline Food?)(No) Hacked Shinies?

Hello! So this is going to be my first thread that I have started and the title pretty much says it all. Okay, so what is the deal with tradeing over hacks? Also I do know what a hack-shiney is, but do clones count? I mean does anything change when you ship over a hack? Like if I have a hack-shiney Meowth and I traded it over to someone else does it revert back to its non-shinieness? Also this one girl that I am going to trade with, whenever I get my Wi-Fi, has asked me if my Lugia is "legit". Now I did trade it from XD, does that count as "legit"? Also what would happen if it wasn't "legit" or any pokémon isn't "legit"? Now I would never use codes to get a certain pokémon or shiney, because to me it just takes the game out of it. Can anyone explain to me?

The problem with hacks is exactly what the name implies: they are all hacked, and so nobody wishes to trade their hard-earned or self-raised Pokemon for something that only took a matter of seconds to create and had no hard work whatsoever placed into it. The rules state not to trade any known hacks, so if you are caught willingly trading hacks or any Pokemon that is not "legit", then you have a fair chance of being infracted or even banned by the staff, so do not do it.

Cloning, however, is determined more on a user-by-user basis. Some will accept clones, others will not.

...Oh, and yes, Lugia from Pokemon XD counts as "legit", as long as you never used any cheat codes whatsoever to obtain it.
