What is the best starter?

Torchic is the most useful starter in R/S, cause Blaziken can beat almost the whole Elite Four But my favorite is Charmander all the way!

Hitokage, Achamo or Hinoarashi. I really like all of the fire types really.

Well I don't know about that, but I know when using english names, I prefer Torchic overall. :)

Hmmmmmm...that's a toughie. Well, I think the "best" starter is Torchic IMO. I just adore Torchic and especially when it evolves into Blaziken! XD *huggles teh Torchic*

For best starter overall...I would say cyndaquil, since I love its evolutions. :P

For one that I actually like using in battle, though...I'm not sure, really. o_o

It's better to say the names in english so the general public understands exactly what the heck your talking about. Otherwise it would be borderline spam, since it doesn't help anyone saying "Achamo".

The second starter I prefer is Charmander.

Can't believe I'm the only Sceptile fan here? Everyone seems to have forgot about Treecko and his evolutions.

Anyway, I'm also a large Bulbasaur fan, since it was my first ever Pokemon.

But I don't usually train Grass types, and Abby is a Sceptile fan too XD

OMG, I can't believe I forgot Treecko! He's the coolest grass starter I have ever seen. especially Ash's Treecko. I loved it when he started dancing in the "gotta dance!" short. :D
