Any Pokmon with an extreme growth curve, but Duskull is a real pain in the neck to train >.> It doesn't learn any good attack moves and doesn't have good enough attacks to actually OHko wild Pokmon that actually give a decent amount of exp points and useful EVs -_-

Not really. I trained a Dusclops to Lv. 100 in Ruby mostly using the Elite 4 and it was pretty easy. Training it against Phoebe, Glacia, and Steven with Macho Brace gave it ton of EVs in HP and the defenses. Plus its attack not that bad and if you predict right, it can OKO quite a few Pokemon with Focus Punch.

Don't no really.I suppose any Pokemon that is at a high level i find difficult to raise as it takes forever to level up or whatever and it's quite hard to find rare candys to level them up quiker as i tend to use them as soon as i get them as i can't be bothered to keep them untill i really need them!so i have no certain Pokemon that i find hard to raise.

i think meditite and shelgon take freking forever

I don't EV train, just give them an exp.share and then let my strong pokemon take on the poke. league.. so they gain exp. just to complete my pokedex.. im just trying to complete the dex, then i'll try to get them all strong.. i have most pokemon in the game thats capturable, just the weak ones that are annoying, eg; zigzagoon, banette etc..
well i just started again, im at erika with my level 47 charizard ;]

My List
1.)Dratini
2.)Shelgon(You find most bagons in level 30 anyways)
3.)Larviatar
4.)Beldum(They only know Takedown)
5.)Wobbetfetts

Raising Dratini to Dragonite is always a pain for me, since it takes Dratini so long to get to the Dragonite stage, not to mention you get him so late in the game. Usually I try to get one early in the game, though.

Togepi is my hardest! holy crap those are really long to lvl up! espacilly rasing it from lvl 5!

You know what's a pain in the butt to train? Sentret. (I'm only training it because I eggmoved Iron Tail onto it for the 1st RSE gym, and its ATK and DEF are so LOW...)

Hey I am from the Bronx to. Anyways raising a Magikarp without evolving it into a gyrados is really hard. Not only that a Chansey because number one they are hard to catch and they have very bad defenses.

Larvitar or Eevee. >< Hardest ones...definately...

i think its hard to train an eevee into espeon or umbreon with good EV's, because you have to train level, EV, and happiness at the same time

EDIT:you also have to get the time of day right

All good opinions, but once again the hardest Pokemon to raise are:

Breloom
Crawdaunt
Hariyama
Illumise
Seviper
Swalot
Wailord

These are the only Pokes that require 1,640,000 Exp points to reach Lv100, or in other words 39,000 Exp points more than the next closest Pokemon. Now try raising one of them to Lv100 while doing EV training AND without Rare Candies or Exp Share. Then you will see what I am talking about and give these pain in the *** Pokes the props they deserve.

smarties-kun my brother trained his duskull to lvl.85 in an hour, so duskulls arent that hard to train.

In an hour? O__O

Anyways, the hardest for me to train was definitely...Skitty. ><

Maybe it's because most of it's attacks are for contest appeals and I refused to evolve it! (Skitty's my fave Poke *hugs*)

But the hardest for me to raise overall are:

Larvitar
Beldum
Dratini
Abra
Ralts
Shuckle
Ditto ><

While I'll admit that Beldum is extremely hard to effort train (mostly because it can't OHKO anything in any of the effort training locations until it evolves), it's not very hard to level up. Wobbuffet's a b1tch because the battles last forever. Also because Encore only has 5PP, making it impossible to last more than a couple battles with it. Also, because the damage Wobba deals depends on the damage it's dealt, it becomes harder to kill low level foes as you gain more levels. Cleaning out some very offense-driven trainers might be a possibility.
