My favourite is Chimchar.It can take out your rivals empoleon with a fire move as empoleons 2nd type is water and Torterra can be taken out by a water type as its 2nd type is ground.With Chimchar, you get a wide array of Attack and Special attack move, due to its Fire and fighting typing

Piplup is my favorite of the three. Empoleon Dynamite for the win! Empoleon's overworld in Amity square is so cute! I'm so fangirling over Empoleon! How can you not love this super awesome Penguin Pokemon? ^_^

It is probably going to be Turtwig because I chose it on Platinum and I use a Torterra in my Pearl team even though I chose Piplup as my starter.

I would say piplup is my favourite :) The others I don't find cute.

But for battling maybe chimchar is best as it evolves into very strong pokemon

I've restarted my Diamond game so many times I got bored of the starters really quickly. But if I had to pick it would be Turtwig first then Piplup and last would be Chimchar.

I have all three in their final stages and my most useless is Infernape >_<
