Hey my favorite bootlefg pokemon game is pokemon pokemon quartz and blue sead edition.Pokemon quartz offered a whole new region with fakemon... however there was too much swearing which left me laughing in splits :).I like blue sea edtion because the maps were fantastic and unlike the alpha which is in in spanish and only goes upto cerulean city in the bootleg version you can travel through the whole region and the game is poorly translated into english.I know these are hacks made by baro and neos and i must say these hacks were fantatsic.

I remember playing a game which was titled "Pokemon Diamond" when I was very young on an emulator, It wasn't even an actual Pokemon game but I had no idea, I just kept playing it in hopes that I'd eventually be able to beat gym leaders and get badges like normal and it didn't happen. It didn't happen!

Well that was a negative experience, I don't quite remember accidentally playing a good hack.

well it seems like you found the fake pokemon diamond which was a hack of telefang power that was actually sold on a gameboy colour.

I was personally enjoying Pokemon Shiny Gold, a gold remake hacked from Pokemon Fire Red that was around before the REAL second generation remakes and it even contained third generation pokemon. I wanted to start a new file on it but my VBA controls don't seem to be working so I am waiting for a response on how to solve the problem on Coolroms.

I was also at one time enjoying one called Pokemon Generations which is a red hack that rearranged all of the scenery and gave the gym leaders their canon teams from the anime. Brock had vulpix in place of geodude for example(or maybe he had all three I can't remember for sure). You play as the G/S/C sprite, your starter choices are Mew, Dratini or Eevee and your rival is Ash who wants to relive his adventure after finishing the league.
I never managed to get far though, I originally discovered it via a gaming website where you could play and save the games directly onto your account but the stupid thing never worked. My place would never save. It pissed me off I really liked the team I made and I ditched the site after a couple of this occurrence.

But then, not long ago I found a downloadable version so yay.
I have not played my VBA for a while, I may get back into that game as well.

There is this one called Pokemon Frost, a Ruby hack that is not that well done but the rival meeting was awesome. I don't know how it works if you are May since I was Brendon(I always am, I hate May, she's ugly and annoying) but when you meet May she's looking at porn and says when she heard there was a new kid in town she hoped she could screw you or something I forget exactly(Instead of hoping you could be friends). Then asks you not to rat her porn out to Birch lol. I found that so funny, but it was the only good part of the game.

The only bootleg game I ever played was a version of Yellow that I bought on holiday in Spain. This was before the official Yellow version came out in the UK, so I was unbelievably excited to play it before my friends could back home. But... then it turned out to freeze every time you tried to leave Viridian City, meaning the 'joys' of playing the game lasted about an hour at the most. So, in many ways, it's both my favourite AND my least favourite Pokemon bootleg, by virtue of being the only one I've played thus far! :P

The absolute best bootleg Pokemon game is Vietnamese Crystal. You get to eat volcano bakemeat, find HEHE true face, have wild laps jump out, have a pillory, and bag ****. Awesome.

Chaos Black was fairly entertaining. I think the new Pokemon in the game were actually good ideas, unlike most bootlegs which don't even try to be creative. Also, Quartz was pretty good because the offensive humor in the dialogue is just hilarious, and like Chaos Black the Pokemon were good.
