    My favorite starter of all is......Mudkip. Emerald was my first pokemon game and.....its just awesome.....LOL!!!!!!! I like mudkips........
     
    I started playing Pokemon when the color games where the newest so i buy my copy of Gold and still remember the great games that they are, and my most precious friend was my Cyndaquil, pokemon that i never evolved because i love is primary forme so i go with Cyndaquil
     
    So I herd u liek Mudkipz? :U
    Uhhh, anyways. Cyndaquil. xD
    I've always loved it, it's cute and strong, and Typhlosion is freakin' BEAST.

    I pretty muc like all the fire starters but Cyndaquil is my absolute favorite. Every since 2nd gen Cyndaquil has been my favorite pokemon. It is small, fast, and pretty strong. I never evolved my cyndaquil on gold version and it always turned out great but Clair was a bit more difficult since it culd no learn Thunder punch.
     
    Wow you started playing late into the series. My favourite has always been squirtle <3
    And it probobly always will be.
     
    I've played since the original red and blue, but my favorite has been Torchic. It's by far the cutest starter so far and it packs quite a punch at higher levels :D
     
    I've played since LeafGreen and FireRed came out. My favorite starter would have to be squirtle though, I do love them all. <3
     
    Charmander ftw because he is just too much of a beast in his evolved forms plus he Is a classic
     
    Treecko, Torchic and Chikorita, in that order.
     
    Cyndaquil or Torchic.
    And for D/P/Pt probably Turtwig.
     
    Cyndaquil and Treecko.

    I have a distinct dislike for the Kanto and Sinnoh starters in general. ^_^ Even so, I do think Chikorita sucks just as much as Bulbasaur/Squirtle/Charmander/Turtwig/Piplup/Chimchar. :D
