Question: What kind of arguing with other members is tolerated?

First of all, I would like to thank Patchisou Yutohru for agreeing with me about the need for an adult sub forum. Even though he says it will never happen, at least he is intelligent enough to realize the forums need for one. Cussing is a part of real life and you can't censor real life.

Now, to the point of this thread...I am really trying to get the lay of the land here and I definitely don't want to step on anyones toes. I have some suggestions to make the forum run a little smoother and to maybe attract a more mature member base. Now I know my suggestions will not be welcomed with open arms by everyone here and I need to know how far I can go while defending myself or my ideas. I already know that cussing isn't an option so I'm gonna have to go for plan B, hence this thread.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but basically what you're saying is that everything is fair game as long as you don't cuss right? Because I can get pretty creative without cussing (I didn't want to do it this way but my hand was forced).

Patchisou Yutohru seems like a pretty good mod and he seems to understand where I'm coming from on these ideas. Apparently the road block to our adult sub forum is admin correct? This is going to be tougher than I thought. I might need some open forum back-up from you Patchisou Yutohru. And I need to know how far I can go when arguing with other members on here.

We are never going to accomplish our goals if I end up getting banned for crossing the line while campaigning for my new ideas.

You joined a PG rated forum. You AGREED to the rules and regulations before you were allowed to join. In those rules, are your answers. If you want more adult humour and banter, then feel free to join another forum.

Secondly: While all the staff appreciates the members giving feedback and offering ideas - this is just ridiculous. This forum is open to all ages whether you like it or not, and trying to cater to an older demographic would fragment the community, which is a bad thing.

The majority of our members are children and immature. Implimenting the T-Dome, or anything like that, again is far-fetched and just... not something suited for the forum.

Original question in mind, arguing in general is tolerated to an extent. So long as you aren't offending another user, bypassing the censor in doing so, and keeping within the topic based on facts and not just personal opinions or emotions, then all "debatable discussions" won't be held against you. However, if you are arguing for the sake of arguing with someone and bypassing all the rules that follow, then you will end up getting punishment in return. I'll add to that, that taking a look at the PokéCommunity Rules and the individual section rules would be a good thing to do beforehand.

Anyway, this is beginning to stray from the original question earlier than intended, and I'm going to close this before it goes any further than it needs to. :\
