What Kind Of Japanese Music Do You Listen To?

I also like Misono. Koda Kumi's Younger Sister. After Them Making A Single Together I've done some....Re-search.
 
Mainly underground doujin stuff. A while back, it was a lot of J-Pop and such, but nowadays, it's a lot of J-core/trance with some jazz and rock thrown in. Not really a fan of anime music. :\

I like J-rock and J-pop too, but I'm a lover of the visual concept.

Well, my favourite bands & singers are:
Malice Mizer, GACKT, Közi, Versailles -Philharmonic Quintet-, The Candy Spooky Theater, KneuKlid Romance, Kaya, Klaha, X Japan, PENICILLIN, and some others too.
I just say the ones that I listen the most, because there's some artists that I listen just about five songs or less, so... ^-^"
But I count to hear more of them, of course. I discover little by little, we'll say. ^w^

I mostly listen to soundtracks from anime or games. Otherwise I really like a couple songs by angela.

I am Frank.I read your entire post.I grew up on show tunes and movie soundtracks,I was even more exposed to movie related music by his listening to movie scores. Because of my background with movie music, I really like anime music.Anime is pretty nifty in the sense that it's the whole package visually as well as audibly.Firstly we're entertained by the putty pictures on the TV screen, then we pop the soundtrack in the stereo and presto, more entertainment!
I'm still new and absolutely unexposed to j-R, J-Pop, Visual Kei and all that good stuff so I can't even tell you if I'd like any of it. I can tell you, however, that the Japanese bands I've seen on the net look damn cool.

I mostly like listening to anime OSTs and music from various video games like the Persona series
My fav genre is J-pop and J-rock
 
I can agree that the only Japanese songs I listen to are from anime and video games... my favorite songs from anime are Kawaita Sakebi from Yu-Gi-Oh! and My Will from InuYasha.

Anyone from DTOPIA and contemode. Which includes Aira Mitsuki (SHE'S A POKEFAN) and Perfume (and capsule, mentioned because I have serious love for them).

SAWA has been getting a lot better, but I've always liked her.

Nujabes, Thelma Aoyama, Miliyah Kato... These are good examples of who I like on the JUrban side of the spectrum.
